My child has been at this school for 3 years and overall I like the school but I believe it could be much better. The teachers have to deal with many behavior issues and this takes away from education. My child is bullied often. I feel the school could do a better job of training the teachers how to manage their classrooms. We got lucky this year and have a tough teacher and she is cracking down on the behaviors but I feel that the main problem is the parents are allowing thier children to be disruptive. Several parents have complained about too much school work. I feel the students are not challenged enough. They need more Science and more technology in the school. This school still has chalkboards when most of the other public school are getting smart boards. These teachers need more support or the school will continue its downward FCAT grade spiral. It was an "A" school for years the last two years it has been graded "B". I am hoping the new principal will raise the expectations the teachers have for their students.

This is an excellent school. My son is in 5th grade this year. He finally got a male teacher who is a good role model for him, and dosent' allow him to to get away with the nonsense he pulled on his previous teacher. I am happy with this school

This school is wonderful. My son has had wonderful teachers and he is in 3rd grade now. His teacher communicates regularly and I am never in surprise with any of his grades. They just had a dance that my son thoroughly enjoyed and their fun programs like music, art, computer and PE. My son loves all of his special area classes. This school also has a remarkable principal who contacts us regularly to keep us updated about school functions. This is by far an A+ school!

Good school with some really good teachers who care about the students. Not too many extracurricular activities but it is elementary school.

From the moment you walk into the office, you are made to feel welcome. The teachers really seem to want to be there and are enthusiastic about teaching!

I have been very pleased with my daughters experience at Frangus elementary. I have noticed that the teachers and staff will go the extra mile to ensure each childs success, they sincerely do what it takes to make sur that no child is left behind. I am kept informed on a regular basis of my daughters progress or lack of and given tips on what I can do to help her be successful. She was provided with extra tutoring after school when needed in order to help her better prepare for the FCat during her 3rd grade year and went from a possible retention to passing at almost a 4th grade level. The staff really works to earn the A grade they have received.
