Mr Shreffler. Without your leadership, enthusiasm and passion, Wyndham Lakes would not be the same. You lead a fantastic group of teachers and support staff and can't thank you enough for everything you do every single day for our kids. You're the best!
The school has a strict anti-bullying policy and the schools first rule is Speak Only Kind Words. Throughout the year, special guests are invited to speak about anti-bullying, or children attend special presentations to help them learn about compassion and caring.
Our child is now in 5th grade at this school, having attended since kindergarten. She loves it and will be very sad to leave and go onto middle school next year. All of the teachers are very dedicated, and are lead by a caring, enthusiastic Principal who is very involved with the day to day running of the school. There are a lot of extra activities to encourage kids to enjoy learning throughout the school year, and parental involvement is encouraged. The building is well kept, as are the grounds, and the office staff couldn't be friendlier. Thank you to all the staff at Wyndham Lakes, keep up the excellent work!
My child just finished first grade and also attended Kindergarten at this school. So far our experience has been great. Principal Mr. Schreffler is very involved and seems to be a great leader in not only supporting the teachers but also motivating them.
We had been homeschooling since my daughter was about 3.5, so I had a bit of trepidation about her entering such a different learning environment. Thankfully, we were pleasantly surprised with the support from the staff, and my daughter has loved every minute being here. Her teacher has done well to keep her stimulated and learning at her pace, with making adjustments such as sending her to an more advanced classroom for reading. I also appreciate the principal's involvement. He is readily available for the students and parents, and is quick to respond and interact. I do wish they had a gifted program on campus, since my daughter would very much benefit from it, but I do believe the administration is doing well with what they have.
