BAY HIGH SCHOOL prepared me well for my career. I now have two PhDs and have worked in special education and missions around the world. Thank you Bay High. Great memories of my days there. Currently my wife and I are building schools in Korea. Don Cabbage, PhD Class of 1962

My child attends West florida High School and we had the pleasure of hosting Bay High School Tornadoes. I am very impressed with the sportmanship and class displayed by the band and football team. The commitment to excellence and pride of the students in their band and football team obvious, to the faculty, students and parents of Bay High School great job!

GREAT SCHOOL!!!!! Everyone is welcoming. Bay High has by far the best AICE program and the best school spirit!! I would ABSOLUTELY recommend this school. And to the parent with the negative comment... roaches do NOT fall out of the ceiling. I assure you that. Colleges LOVE the programs and Bay has an outstanding Band as well as choir program. Far superior.

Terrible school. Office staff is rude to parents and students. Several teachers don't teach the subject matter, instead talk about athletics and pop culture during class. The teachers then score the students badly because they don't know the material (they don't know the material because it was never taught to them). School is nasty. My child called me to pick up from school because roaches were crawling out of ceiling and falling on students heads. I asked if the teacher was told, and yes teacher was notified and teacher replied "that happens every time it rains" when my child complained about the roaches. This school is not kept clean at all. Students wander off campus whenever they want, nobody attempts to stop them. This has been a terrible experience for my child.

Bay High School has the most school spirit out of any school that I have been too. It also has the best teachers and staff. I love Bay High, home of the Tornadoes.

So great. Great combination of kids. Less self-esteem issues. Far less cliques. Not hard to find friends. Fabulous academies and Magnet. Music program is fantastic and only getting better. Great dance academy. Just so great. I went all four years. No one could've paid me to switch schools. I lived across the bridge and was zoned for another school and still went for four years and never wanted to leave. Excellent. Superior.

I graduated from Bay High School last year. It is definitly the best high school in the county. Through the AICE program I achieved college credit and entered College as a sophmore. I also recieved the 100% Tuition medallion Scholarship from Bright Futures through hard work and recieving an AICE diploma. I can't stress enough how great the AICE program is because of how much it brought me to achieve with the help of fantastic teachers and the best counselor and coordinator, while making life long friends. Bay also has a broad range of choices to help you consider a career through the magnet program. Some of the choices include dance, law, fine arts (drawing and painting as well as a fantastic photography program where you learn how to make photographs in a dark room), culinary arts, choir, drama and fashion design.

I attended Bay high School not to long ago, and I loved my experiences there and the education I received, I wouldn't put all the fault with the teachers there but mostly on the students, don't get me wrong Bay High is a wonderful school with many magnet programs and great teachers. Bay High is a school where you have to help yourself, and you'll love it if you do.

I just enrolled my son who relocated here from a very small town in Maine. He loves Bay High, however I am a little concerned about the 'D' grade it has hanging over it. I talked to one of his teachers, she informed me that the kids at that school are very unruley and unmotivated, as well as 'slackers'..this concerns me, makes me wonder if the kids are that way, what are the teachers doing about it. Sounds to me like the teachers are 'slacking off'..they need to do something about this, that is why they have a 'D' grading. As far as my son, I told him if this school doesnt pick up speed, and the teachers don't wake up..we are going to transfer him to a more reputable school. Teachers at Bay High if you cannot handle the heat get out of the fire. These are your children too!
