I was a student at this school from 2006-2008. I was there from first grade to third grade. Now I'm in 8th grade and I can truly say that they are the reason I am success. The teachers really care about the students, they don't just give you a book and tell you to read. I'm in 8th grade it 6 highschool credits !!! My teachers we're Coach Castillo, Coach Cutler (She left :( ), and Coach DeVeer. I love them DEARLY. I would highly recommend this school to anyone. And the principal is AWESOME he's always there and interactive with us. No one feels like an outcast.

Safety wise the school is great, teacher for the most part are very good. But i have to say I am disapointed w/ that the fact that no notice was sent home to inform of sudents teachers or when parents and students are able to come in to find out teachers and classroom (info). I had to call the school and ask.

My daugther is in first grade and is her first year at the school. Some of the staff are very cooperative and supporting. Coach Debarrios, Coach Cerrato, Coach Deveer, Coach Patrick and Coach Tindell are great !!!!!!!!!!!!!!. But unfortunatelly her teacher is the worse teacher any child can have for first grade ( im sharing a lot of the first graders parents point of view). Coach Holzer should be working with older kids, 5 graders may be or middle schoolers. She is very rude with young children. She is not cooperative at all. She has to find another job, may be with books or plants. The school has at lot of activities for the family. The Christmas activities or thanksgiving for example we love them. Parents involvement is encouraged, the school is always clean.

The school itself is fantastic. Its new, clean, The teachers that I have dealt with for my children have all been a dream. My children have done great there. I will say that the problems there are not with the school. There are a couple of rental communities around and one is a lower income complex. It also has 200 buildings and alllll those children attend this school. I have dealt with a severe amount of bullying and harrassment towards my kids. The teachers and staff handled it the best they could but it is up to the parents of the other children who were clearly not taking care of business with their children. I wish this school was in a different neighborhood because it really is something special.

Joann from registrar is terrible with people. Overall the staff is great, but this lady has serious anger issues when it comes to people. Try to avoid this lady. She is so rude and very unhelpful.

My son attended his first year of school at Palm Cove. I find the school to be below standard. I have seen members of the teaching staff dress inappropriately. There are way too many students in a classroom and many of the vital programs have been cut; including teacher education apparently. The A.S.P. program is even worse. It is poorly managed: with children managing children. I have even received notes handwritten with improper grammar and spelling from counselors that are barely 18 years old and have no child rearing experience. The concerns are too many too list here. I am thoroughly dissapointed in this school and my child will not attend next year.

My son just completed the kindergarten program at Palm Cove. I was very pleased with the school. The teachers and staff are very involved and give the parents many opportunities to be involved in the school. I was very impressed with the many special events run by the school: Family Literacy Night, Math and Science Night, and a great magic show which was sponsored by the PTA. Palm Cove gives working parents an opportunity to visit the school with their children in the evenings in order to share special events and meet our children's friends and teachers.

Llack of communication and interaction with parents and PTA of school with principal. Big turnover every year of teachers due to pressure and circumstances brought about by principal. As of this new school year there is a new principal, hopefully things have turned around.

Have had 3 children in this school, 2 of which are now attending Florida State University. The 3rd is still attending and doing very well. The school consistantly rates 'A' and it shows in my childs SAT scores. Parent involvement is weak but the staff is exceptional.

Palm Cove is a very parent involved school in which every child has all the support and interest from the staff. Extracurricular activities includes not only sports, but chorus, music and arts as well. Palm Cove Elementary is rated as an A+ school.

My daughter loves Palm Cove. The baseball theme really helps to motivate the kids. My daughter loves learning all of the new baseball phrases for different things. Coach Rodriguez (K) is a great teacher. My daughter has improved 100% on all of her skills. They have a quality after school program that is wonderful even though it is not run by the school. My only suggestion is to come down harder on the parents and teachers that do not follow the driving and parking rules in the morning. I was almost hit a couple of times by people coming in the wrong way to avoid the drop of line. I can tell Palm Cove is trying to correct this problem with a staff member posted at the entrance; but, I think that they need some tougher measures. All in all, we are glad our child attended Palm Cove.

palm cove has a strong leadership. The staff ( including the teachers ) are very capable and helpful. My child has thrived on the resources palm cove has to offer. There is an undeniable sense of pride and team spirit shared by parents, teachers, volunteers and staff. I was uneasy about enrolling my child into a public school for various reasons but, after my child experienced his first year of school at palm cove Iam so glad I did.
