Ok well it's a good school but some of the teachers have alot of personal problems and take it out on the kids. A good example would Ms.cummings. With her sarcastic attitude and her smart remarks. Many students have set up meeting with her and their parents, and you would think during a meeting a teacher would greet you and your parents and say hello. But apparently this lady has no clue what proper manners are. she will give you and your parents no greeting and she will act like she has no time to listen to your problem. And lets not with how rude she is to her students. Sadly there are many teachers and staff members that treat parents and students in such a way. Other than that the school is alright
I really like Flanagan but the only problem is that some students are very rude with the teachers ad misbehave a lot but you don't expect a school to have all the students very disciplined. but still the teachers are amazing they are so helpful. love you Flanagan. :)

Flanagan High is a horrible school. The faculty and teachers there are mostly mental. This school gives a bad name to Public Schools. I've tried twice to put my daughter in a different high school but because of space I was rejected. If there's anyway your child can go to another school or private, it would definately be best. In this school you hear more the teachers having a personal issue with the student than them actually being a teacher. Definately unsatisfactory as a shool.

Whomever name is Ms DIXON who works in the office and answer the phone is RUDE, DISRESPECTUL AND A DISGRACE! I don't understand how she could represent a school or even be employed there. As a teacher, attendance assistant, office assistant whatever it may be, you suppose to set an example for the kids who attend Flanagan or any school. As well as respecting others, I'm sure there's unemployed teachers out there who would LOVE to take her place and assist in a RESPECTFUL, CARING AND KIND MANNER.

I'm a freshman at Flanagan and I honestly love it. Yes, there's rumors about fights, teachers not caring, staff being rude, etc. But, how do you know all those things are actually true? Exactly. You don't. Flanagan is an amazing school. The teachers are extremely helpful and they teacher amazingly perfect. They have THE NUMBER ONE COLOR GUARD IN THE WORLD, which I am very proud to be apart of. Overall, Flanagan is amazing, if you're thinking of going there, definitely do it. And join their color guard. The more the better. c:

In my opinion, this school does not do enough to prepare the students to enter top level colleges. Pembroke Pines is a great place to live yet the school does not reflect the community.

The guidance counselors constantly pick and choose who they prefer to call back. They are very rude I called the school asking if any child in Flanagan has received their schedule ,they said no one but yet my child see students posting their schedules on social networking sites. Lastly there very irresponsible.

Some of the teachers are good but with this new principal the school is more of a jail rather than a school. i missed Flanagan in 2009 . School seemed enjoyable back in the day. However im not enjoying my senior year at all :/

this school does not deserve an 8 out of 10. let's start with the staff. from the moment you enter the office or guidance office the lady in the front has a bad attitude and is telling the students off. to be able to get a hold of anyone there including the councelors- lets just put it this way, you will be able to get a hold of president Obama first. if the adults in this place are so terrible could you immagine the kids? they most likely have the same attitude because of the adults that work there.

This is a fairly good school. It has a great staff and quality varied programs. Parent involvement could be improved.

I graduated Flanagan in 2006 and I have to say that I would go back and do it again. That school offers everything from extracurriculars to academics. I enjoyed my time there and after speaking with people who went to school either out of state or in Dade County, I realized how lucky I was to have attended that school. The teachers were extremely involved and showed concern. The population is very diverse which is another thing I loved about that school. Its the prime example of an All-American high school and I'm proud to have graduated from there. They also have an excellent music program (grammy award winning), excellent sports teams, a nationally recognized colorguard and JROTC. I also realized that many people going to college here in NY did not get the same quality of education. Even graduation was a lot more tasteful. Falcon forever

I'm a freshman at Flanagan, and I honestly love it. My teachers are friendly but rule with a firm hand when necessary. The extracurricular activities are fantastic, especially marching band (which I am a part of). At first, I was scared of going to high school because of all the rumored fights and that the teachers don't care about their students. I have come to find that it is the exact opposite. I enjoy every day at Flanagan. There are a lot of really good kids here, and I suggest this school to anyone who is deciding where to send their kids.

This high school has a great 'overall' program for the students. The majority of the teachers are approachable and very responsive to your parental concerns. Their school website is excellent and provide many helpful links for parents and students alike.

It seems that Flanagan's status has improved over the years mostly due to the quality of its teachers. I fear that any further gains will be difficult for two reasons: loss of seasoned teachers loss of funding affecting technology, as well as other programs Flanagan's leadership has never been an asset and this upcoming year will be especially challenging with the transfer of two capable administrators.

This school has excellent teachers and opportunities. Excellent music and baseball programs.

Ive been to three high scools( Sarasota Military Academy and New Mexico Military Institute) and this is the worst one ive ever been to. Constant interuptions from other students and administrators on the PA system, many fights, and the students don't act like there even in middle school....What is up with that? There is no discipline at all and if there is its only found in their NJROTC program. I do not recommend this school to any student or family looking for the right high school.

I attended this school only 1 year. It's the best high school i ever attended. The classes were challenging. Excellent AP and Honors teachers, great technology, upscale facilities, great block scheduling allows you to take 8 courses per year (and potentially finish early). The stuff I learned here set me up for a career in software engineering! A++ Plus, the school is not overcrowded anymore, Pembroke pines is great area

Flanagan is an outstanding school in every way. There are more AP classes offered at this school than most. Outstanding teachers and administration. Rated one of the top 1000 schools by Newsweek for the past 4 years. My children all went through Flanagan and are attending Ivy League Schools.
