I love our school. The children are taught to 'See Christ in Everybody'... which is of prime importance to me. The students in the school also excel in academics, rating very highly in the ITBS standardized tests. The Middle School is incredible - the teachers are teaching critical thinking skills not just facts to be regurgitated back at them on a test. The administration, both principal and pastor, are very supportive of the school. The parents are very dedicated to the school.

What grounds St. Paul's Catholic School as a wonderful academic institution is its solid academic foundation that is balanced through a Christ-centered philosophy that starts from the pre-K level and challenges students thru to 8th grade. The administration, faculty and staff are top notch and really put their focus on what's best for the children! The parents and school community overall is very supportive. The school practices what it preaches by reaching out to the community in various service projects which engages even the youngest students.

They are prepared! Last night I attended PTA at Catholic High School. As I went from class to class and heard the last names of many of the students. I realized how many came from St Paul. and that many of them are taking college prep courses and are in the top ten of their class. St Paul played an important role in getting the students truly on board and prepared our students for high school and beyond. The teachers strive to build on a foundation from Pre-k on up. If you are looking for caring teachers where kids come first, you will find it here.

Poor communication between school leadership and parents. Parent involvement and families there are great but a reasonable amount are leaving the school secondary to a sudden, significant increase in tuition that was poorly laid out to parents. Sports programs are good. Soon to have a functional playground. Sad to be leaving, but the quality of overall experience at St Paul's seems to be going down while tuition is going up.

The strength of Saint Paul Catholic School lies in the fact that its teachers and staff focus on all aspects of the students' development: academics, spiritual growth, service, and knowledge of one's inestimable dignity. Each day, the children's education is geared towards all of these aspects. The curriculum incorporates more than mere academics. Although, the students' national test scores are well above both national and local averages, their education is comprised of so much more. Our aim as parents is for our children to grow up with faith, self-confidence and a strong sense of duty towards others. St. Paul has been instrumental in reinforcing these lessons on a daily basis. We are incredibly blessed by our teachers and staff!

The leadership is excellent! The principal has made the difficult type of decisions necessary to lead a school and keep it on the forefront of learning while at the same time focusing on a faith filled, safe environment. She seems to realize that her job is not to be popular but to lead. It is a school with focus and a vision for the future. Wow. I could not desire more for my child from a school.

Fours years ago my family intentionally moved closer to St Paul for my children to begin school at this highly reputable establishment. That year, the school went through several changes - new principal, house cleaning of staff and changes in curriculum standards. These changes, along with outstanding parish and parent support, has made this school a 'Best Choice in Pensacola' in my opinion. Some facts that should impress any parent: National test scores are well above national average with ranges in 75-95 percentile across the grades and subjects; Teacher retention is extremely high with less than 1/2 % yearly turnover; Teachers credentials are above board with many teachers having advanced degrees (principal and teacher's credentials are published in the school newsletter each year); 1 of 12 schools across the nation selected to pilot 'SuperKid' program...our scores with this program lead to national recognition. I'd wouldn't send my kids any where else!

St. Paul Catholic School has provided my children with an excellent education. It is obvious the teachers love what they do and work very hard not only to teach academics, but also christian values to the children. When my older child continued on to Catholic High, he was well prepared to handle the academics there as well. The principal has provided good leadership and instituted many positive changes to make the curriculum stronger each year. I would highly recommend this school to any other parent.

My children have attended for the last 14 years. We have been through many changes, but through it all academic excellance always comes out on top. The teachers take individual interest in every child to help them succeed.
