While not perfect, the teachers here genuinely care for their students. All students are treated equally with love and support. No child is left behind and unlike our failing public school system, the support, nurturing and innovative teaching environment of the first four years in this school set up most students for success. I think the close community this school fosters is a bit intimidating to some and so certain labels are applied, but this simply is not the case. If your child is not learning here, then your problems are not simply school selection. I love my child's teacher and she is a blessing to all of her students.
Charlotte Academy is the best private school in Charlotte County. I currently have 2 children enrolled in the school and am very pleased with the education and overall atmosphere at the school. The teachers really care about their students and my children think school rocks. They are always excited about going to school in the morning and never want to be late - what more could a mom want?! Highly recommend for any family with children preschool - 8th grade.
It was very evident that if you are just a middle class family and your child needs extra help they can't be bothered. I have found another private school where my child will get the support he needs. Would not recommend unless you are wealthy and your child is an overachiever.
Charlotte Academy is a great school, excellent teachers, education is number 1, is the best school that you cand find near here. I'm really proud to have my daughter studying there. Highly recommend.
This was horrible. I was treated as if I had the plague because my daughter wasn't at the same level as the 'gifted' children. If your child isn't a star, then you better look elsewhere. They are not willing to help a child whose needs anything extra.
Good school if you have a perfect child. Good academics but they won't go the extra mile to help your kid if she/he is having any problems. Elitist!! big time. If you are not part of the social network you and your child won't be treated as the ladies who posted all those great comments.
What a wonderful school!! My child was recently at another school in this area and what a huge difference. I wish I had come to this school sooner. The head of school is extremely professional, knowledgeable and really cares about the students, their families and the staff. All of the staff is friendly and welcomed us so warmly. This is a huge difference from the last school I was at. My child is doing great here and loves it and I couldn't be happier. Thank you Charlotte Academy for doing such an amazing job. We're glad to be a part of your school!
What a wonderful school this is. After many years of my child being at another school in the same area, I could kick myself for not sending him to Charlotte Academy sooner. He is doing extremely well and is very happy with his new surroundings. The teachers and staff are so caring and kind. They welcomed us with open arms and my child is getting the best education possible. I feel that he is safe and well cared for and I don't have to worry about him when I drop him off in the mornings. Anyone looking for a great school, Charlotte Academy is the place for you!
Wow! A school where every teacher actually cares about every child's success and development - whether its academics, social, emotionl, or even physical. I know my child is safe, and free of so many other distractions they would find in other schools. My kids are elementary and middle school, and the older child will graduate with two high school credits, and have already taken the college S.A.T.
What a horrible school! After 3 years of them telling me they were the best school around, I finally started to look around and found out how wrong they were. If you are part of the 'social set' things are great; if you are just a normal average family, you are really a nobody. I suggest you look around first.
