If you want to see my complete review on why i find this school to be 1/5 star please look at Danny Lopez's Google Review of Pivot Charter School of Tampa. This review is coming from a senior that is currently attending the school, only giving facts and history that has occurred in just three marking periods alone,no personal opinions. This school is designed to teach the student to utilize various sources in his steps to learn. It would be very helpful to have other subjects offered - including sports, music and art.

Pivot Charter School is a great place to send your student if they are struggling for any reason in their current school. They really focus on individualized learning and helps each student get better in school, and as a person. I love this school!

About the tests

Florida uses School Grades to measure the overall performance of a school each year on the Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test (FCAT). Each school is assigned a letter grade (A-F) based on three criteria: the overall performance on the FCAT, the percentage of eligible students who took the test, and whether or not students made progress in reading and math. The School Grades are calculated by adding points earned from each of the performance criteria listed above.
