Rodgers is one of the best schools you could ever send your kids to.. so what if there are fights the teachers are great especially the chorus teacher and I would never EVER change anything because everyone is really nice once you get to know them.. just don't hang out with the wrong crowd :) I am a student that is currently going there and I love this school :)
this school is amazing so what if there r a lot of fights the teachers r great expecially the chorus teacher i sucked at math but then i went to this school and get straight a's teachers take their time to explain things. if u want ur child to learn go here this is a fantastic school.
It's sad to see reviews that are misspelled. Don't you people at least use spell check? It obviously shows that some of you had a bad education and here I am researching schools only to find reviews filled by unintelligent beings. Teachers can't do much for bullying. It's a PARENTS responsibility!!! I'm not for bullying but do believe the best solution against bullying is knowing self-defense. So DO something for YOUR child and teach them self-defense. Stop being so lazy and dependent of others to fix your issues. I'm done here.

The staff is so RUDE and my step son is not learning a thing! They recomened that he be in regular classes and he is not where he needs to be, they really don't care either. This place is more like an innercity ghetto flop house where kids go to hang out. If it was up to me I would pull him out today!

The school is really bad starting from staff, teachers and the kids. If you want your child not to learn anything send them there. Thank goodness my child is leaving this year. Do some search before you decide to send your child there. I wish I had done my..

Mrs, Lopez is a great teacher ! I was able to attend the last parent and teacher night and Mrs. Lopes took her time explaining everything my son needed for Language Arts, Rodgers is overcrowded and his other teachers seemed to not be on point and on task as Mrs. Lopez is. This school needs more Teachers like her.
iWent Too Rodgers 6th - 8th Grade . Its A Mixed School Of Good & Bad . But iWouldnt Say Its The Teachers Or Staffs Fault . Its The Parents Fault For Not Teaching There Child Right From Wrong . The Teachers Are Amazing & So Is The Staff . Every Adult There Is Willing Too Help Out Any Student At Any Time . My Grades Were Adverage & Above Adverage At Times . There Principal Sharron Tumicki Is Completely Amazing She Is The Sweetest Lady In The World , Shes There For Every Child At That School . None Of The Staff Would Let A Child Fall & Fail ; My Older Brother Went There & Mrs.Brown The Guidence Consouler & Mrs.Tumicki Helped My Brother Get Into South County So He Can Make Something Outta His Life & Now Hes Graduating This June & Goin To Johnston & Wells For Culinary . Rodgers Is A Great School & iRecomend It . iDearly Miss That School & Thoese Amazing Teachers (:

All in all Rodgers has its ups and downs. It has bullies, it's over populated, many teachers are totally inconsiderate, and it's pretty gross. But I also think my teachers were good I learned alot, my guidance counselor was very nice and I'm glad I have her, the lunches aren't bad, and I have made many good friends. So I do think its an okay school.

This school is the worst middle school in Riverview. Uncontrolled students. Too many bullies, the staff didn't do anything to stop them. They punished the victims instead.

I am not a big fan of Rodgers Middle school, because the teachers are not involve with parent/ teacher communication as I think they should be. I think the principle is doing her best, however the teachers should carry most of the weight when it comes to this. Hopefully, the 2007-2008 school year will improve with parent/teacher communication.

My children have attended wonderful elementary schools in Riverview, but when it came time for middle school there was no way I would send them to Rodgers. I have NEVER found any parent that had ONE good thing to say about this school. Am sending mine to a magnet school which is great (but inconvenient) and know many other parents here that are doing the same.

Can't wait for my child to be out of this school. There is alot of bullying going on in this school, which does not make for a great teaching or learning environment. While there are some very good teachers at this school, in my experience the bad definetly outweigh the good.

Honestly, Rodgers Middle School is one of the worst middle schols i've come in contact with. My child has been going there since 7th grade and since then her grades have slipped greatly. I belive the teachers dont give enough effort in the classrooms beacause of the nummber of students they have to control. They spend half the class period trying to calm the students, and not all of the childrens needs get met. The hallways are packed with students and the behavior is afull. I hear of fights during the school day almost everyday. To tell you the truth, I cant wait until my child moves on to highschool where I hope she can get a better education.
