I love this school. The new principal gets everyone including the parents involved. The teachers take the time to help every student. The school goes out of it's way to make sure that everyone feels welcomed there. They have different programs that challenge the students natural abilities. They offer many extracurricular activities for the children. They school keeps the parents well informed. They have a great dance, and drama program. They are one of the few schools left with the arts still a part of the curriculum. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I just can not say enough about this school.

This school will make your child a well rounded individual. There is 1/3 of each nationality which creates no divisions. The staff is above outstanding! I feel very fortunated to have my daughters be a part of this school! The arts and drama are out of this world so if you want to bring this out in your child you will get alot out of this school. There are alot of underpriviledged kids here which I feel is good because they are so grateful for all the extras that Goico offers them, ie.. free afterschool care for 3rd and 5th graders and alot of other oppurtunities to be amazing kids! The principal is so involved with these kids that he knows most of them and will address them by their first name! This school might not look glamorous from the exterior value but it is filled with so much heart!

I am a parent of 3 kids at this school. Unlike some of the responses below...I have had an excellent experience at Gocio. The principal and assistant principal do an excellent job and are very supportive. The teachers here are top notch and often times work much harder than teachers at other schools because of the student population. Great school!!! s

My child has been at Gocio since KG and is now in 5th grade. I have become increasingly unhappy with the school, especially since the latest principal. He has never responded to my concerns sent via email. He is far more interested in his arts programs than children with learning problems making progress.

My child attended this school in kindergarten. I enjoyed the atmosphere the teachers and principal had with the kids. They where very concern when I told them about my daughter being dyslexic and worked with me about how to help her.

Good school for discipline, however lacks parental involvement. Some teachers ready for retirement and should. New teachers coming in will help situation.
