My years at Southland were great and all but my last year made me see some negatives:if youre a "Christian" and you sing secular songs or curse, the teachers think you've "changed", negative reviews on public schools, saying they are uneducated, and they added some rules that are just ridiculous, and their view on the world is "demonic" or "bad". I came here for an education, not a life seminar. I was so blinded by this the past years, but I see it now. I believe this school wouldnt be suitable for my kids since im not "one of them". - student

The school is actually K3 through 12th grade and has the A Beka Curriculum which is very advanced and traditional. The curriculum is about two years ahead of public schools in our area and affordable. They do expect their students to display respect and remind them of their manners. My child has been enrolled for three years now.

My children are no longer enrolled in Southland. The Administrators made some very poor decisions. I would not trust that this school would act in the best interest of my children.

My child completed his first year at Southland and I am astounded at the level of learning. At the end of Kindergarden he can read, count, do math and has a grasp of living a wholesome, Christian life. The teachers and staff are very 'into' kid's lives and it is because of that the children know they are accountable for their actions. There is also a genuine concern and fondness expressed for each child there. The staff know the kid's names and address them daily. These kids know that they are special. I highly recommend Southland and plan to continue there as long as possible.

Sadly, the parent who has taken her child out and put them into Heritage has made a big mistake. Heritage has a DARK spirit over the school and church and really needs to be anointed by the Lord. Maybe her son had problems and they were trying to help. We are taking our daughter out of Heritage and putting her into Southland. They ALL believe and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ and have wonderful values to help the students both academically and spirtitually. I will be praying for the parent and child that left Southland.
