Lowry is an awesome school. My kids had great teachers. Mrs. White in Kindergarten and Ms. Washington in 2nd grade. Great band program, drum corps, & chorus. Art & PE teachers wonderful. PTA does many positive things for our children and help to raise so much money for the school. We are stationed elsewhere now, but hope to come back, so atleast son can finish elementary here. We miss it!

This is our child's first year at Lowry. We, too, were a bit timid to try public school. So far we are most impressed with our child's kindergarten teacher, Ms. Apgar. She is very patient with the kids, very dedicated and is on her game. Any problems that pop up in the classroom are addressed immediately and sensitively. Our child is excited to go to school everyday and excited about learning, and we attribute that to the teacher. We're not as impressed with other areas of the school, most notably the PTA and other regular parent-led committees we've joined. While we realize these are volunteer committees, meetings are extremely disorganized and leaders aren't particularly patient with parents who have questions. We've found this very disappointing because we've wanted to be actively involved.

As a Staff Member at Lowry, this school suffers from many poor teachers, and administration. I am basing this on complaints from Parents, and the Mediocrity that persist. Lowry is not a Kid friendly school. Try Westchase or other schools in this district. I give Lowry a F+ .

I have one child still attending Lowry and another that has moved on to middle school. I absolutely love Lowry! I have never had an issue, the staff and teachers are always friendly and care about the students.

As a parent I was skeptical about sending my only child to a Public School, but decided to give it a shot. What a great move ! Lowry is fantastic and we are so happy with the school. The campus is very neat, security is great and the staff is just wonderful. My child is incredibly lucky to have Mrs. Lynn White as her Kindergarten teacher. She is just fantastic. So involved, creative, thoughtful and such a positive person. She is the best teacher I have met yet.
