Excellent Education, Teachers and Parent Community.
My son and daughter both attend Dale Mabry and we have been so impressed with ALL the teachers. My kids have both needed extra attention for various issues and the faculty/administration has been so attentive. You can't go wrong in choosing this school!!!
My kids are now in 4th and 5th grade, having attended since kindergarten. The teachers and administrative staff are terrific and very responsive to parents. There are many opportunities to get involved as a parent. They offer the full gamut of support for kids who need extra help up to gifted students. They also offer a full complement of afterschool enrichment programs run by the PTA that offers something for every child.
We have attended Dale Mabry Elementary for the past 6 years. I now have three children attending this school. We love it! I especially love the exceptional education they are receiving in a public school (they even have mandatory uniforms!) The teachers and administration are awesome. We love Mabry!
My child has learned an awful lot in her first year of school (kindergarten). I am so impressed. The staff is extremely friendly. Parental involvement is very impressive. There are many choices for extracurricular activities. Great school.
Have three here since 2005. Great for all three. Teachers and principal have been great. Grounds improving. Best in Tampa.
We have just moved to GA in March and I didn't realize what a wonderful school Dale Mabry was until I had something to compare it to. Parent involvement was great there, they had wonderful talent shows for all ages which were fun and also boosted self configdence. These all seem to be done entirely by parents, which was remarkable to me. I also loved the teacher that my daughter had for kindergarten, as she really knew how to reach and handle all students and bring out the best in them. From the 3 or 4 times I volunteered in the classroom, I was amazed at her ability to manage behavior and speak to them in language that they understood and that got their attention and response. Her name is Ms. Boyle and I highly recommend her. It was so very neat that many parents were there every morning.
This is our first year here and love the discipline shown by the students and the academic programs are challenging. Lots of extracurricular activities are available and the school should offer more and more in the years to come due to high parental involvement.
Very good school! Very strong academics. Like a private school, but free. Win battle of the books consistantly. Strong ESE programs. School does excellent on FCAT. Top elementary school in Hillsborough County Florida
DME seems to be a good school but the drop-off/pick-up situation is terrible. They really need to figure out a better way to handle it.
