I just participated in the 4th Annual African American Read In at this school and each year I go back I am amazed at the dedication and hard work that is put forth by all of the faculty and staff at this school. Each year the program gets better and the parents I speak with are there supporting their children and this school even though many of them have just got off from work and have other children at home to see about. It takes a village to raise a child!!!!!!!! Ms McDaniel keep up the great work.......

Every Staff member at Robles are hands on and personable folks. Our kids are their number one priority no a daily basis. I have never seen my son so encouraged to attend school thanks to his wonderful teacher Ms. Artis.

My child attends this school and am trying to get my child in another school as soon as possible. The teacher is rude and harsh. My child is not learning anything at this school. My child was smarter before attending. Now is losing focus because of the lackluster skill of the teacher. Would not recommend any parent/child to this low class school.

Do not like the school...teachers don't care about the students, they are just there for a paycheck. The children don't learn...they are just passed off to the next grade without knowing or learning anything at all. The office staff is no better either. Would never recommend this school to any parent. Also if you are zoned to this school I would highly suggest that you enroll your child in another school under a magnet program or the school choice program!!

Robles is a challenging school in a challenging neighborhood. The staff tries hard and the principal is excellent, but it's saddled by the district with a 'fundamental' curriculum that assumes the students are incapable of anythign better and thus inspires no one.

My son is getting rady to start 5th grade next week and I just hope all our parents at Robles get involved with the PTA this year and we can get more activities going for the kids and have just a terrific year. Robles has come a long way but we are still lacking in parent involvement, So everyone sign up!!!! I hope Im not the only parent who views this site and makes posts this year:)
