As a new student at THS, I've found it difficult to get involved here. Most of the students aren't including at all, and it has been very hard to make friends. I absolutely love the teachers, though. Dr. Spinner is also very involved both during school hours and after. She is present at every single home game. Also, the AP classes at THS are good. I think they should make a program for new students though, to make them feel more welcome.
I had the time of my life going to Titusville High. It has so many great stereotypical high school qualities, yet many things that make it so unique. The music program is one of the best in the state of Florida. The sports programs are competitive and often successful. In any case, they build up the school's spirit sky high.
The school has a fabulous music program. It is so responsive to the needs of students.
It is an awesome school!!! My son goes there and really enjoys it. He is very active in school and the activites. I volunteer to keep involved and the staff and teachers are great!!
This school holds the future of both my sons and already had to loose too many teachers and resources due to budget restrictions. The staff is dedicated and intensely engaged in a quality education for the students.
I've gone to Titusville High School for 2 years and I have to say its pretty great. The teachers are my favorite thing about the school. They are so supportive. The music and health and human services programs are the best in the county. We have some fantastic sports teams including our swimming, football, girls basketball teams, both tennis and cross country teams. I can say that I throughly enjoy going to Titusville High School.
We have a daughter in the 9th grade. We are very pleased with the school. The band program is awesome. They got a superior in all the categories. There is so many awesome teachers and staff there. The school has a lot to offer and has a lot of clubs and sports. Every student should get involved in something. We can't wait for all the construction to be over and the school will be looking great. You should be involved in your child before you know it they will be on their own. You can always volunteer somewhere in the school. Email is the very best, when you email a teacher they get right back to you. We have been very pleased with the response. Going on the web site you can learn a lot about the school.
We re-located here from Wales in the United Kingdom. My son is a fluent Welsh speaker and did NOT use English while at school. Titusville High made us very welcome. The Guidance Councillor facilitated my son's choice of subjects. He has settled in very well and is achieving excellent grades. He has access to the swimming pool and countless sporting activities. He is growing as a person both accademically and socially. Me and my husband have already had the opportunity to meet his teachers at 'open house'. Thank you Titusville High so much. Diolch yn fawr iawn (thank you very much)
Just purchasing a home in this area proved to be difficult; we have high school age children who have changed schools three times in the past 2 years due to my job reassignment. The faculty and administration have been very helpful and professional, which has eased the transition. The academics rival any other state's that my children have attended. It has met our expectations.
Titusville High is a terrible high school. The staff is very rude. The teachers are lazy. Last year in Biology Honors we didn't do any labs! I am very surprised that our school received a school grade of C. We should have received a D! The music program is just about the best program in the school. Compared to other schools in the country, Titusville High's average SAT score is extremely low. I am very glad I am moving to a different state and will be going to a school where the average SAT score is 200 points higher.
