I'm currently a 7th grader at Roosevelt. The school overall is good, and most of the teachers are great. But, the students in the school are really... bad. Many bully me or insult me because I'm an atheist and asexual. The principal also isn't very good at her job. There are good students though and the teachers are really supportive. The guidance counselors give us advice on almost everything, and my guidance counselor even gave me some notebooks because she knows I enjoy writing. The Environmental program is teaching me many things that I can use in the future, since I want to become a botanist. All in all, it's a good school with some bad kids.

I think that Mr. Lockhart is a great principal. However he needs to rid himself of some of the young administration that he has that only tries to make a name for themselves. There are some great teachers at RMS and there are some that just want a job. To some of the great ones, Ms. VV Smith, Ms. A Wright. Ms. A Williams. Ms. Pugh, Ms. King, and a few others Thank You for being whom you are and continue to assist the kids in being the best.

I attend RMS and it set me up to do great things iin high school. I'm glad that I went to RMS it gave me all the skills I need to do well in high school. The after school ativities are great and the teacher are there to help the kid in need with its tutoring almost everyday.

My son attended Roosevelt for two years in the Pre Engineering program. The guidance department really keeps the students on track. The aftercare/after school tutoring is great. I was really pleased with the fact that he could earn high school credit while in middle school. My son now attends Suncoast and is very successful academically. It attribute this success to Roosevelt preparing him for the faster pace of an advanced school. I definitely think the decision to pull him from his 'around-the-corner' home middle school and apply him to Roosevelt will greatly impact his acaedmic achievements in the future. I definitely recommend Roosevelt to any student or parent who wants their child to be ready for any high school out there.

My daughter is in her third year at Roosevelt in the Engineering Magnet. Lets face it, there aren't a lot of great Middle school choices in Palm Beach County. We heard all of the hype about Roosevelt, and I think that it used to be a 5 star school, but not anymore. If you have a self-sufficient child who gets along with all types of people, this may be the school for you. It is a rough crowd of kids and half of the teachers that we have encountered in 3 years don't really have the heart for teaching, it's a job. Most of the sports programs are great. Administration has a lot of turnover, so you never feel that you really connect with anyone as a parent. The principal is average, he comes to most things, will listen if you have an issue, but won't always find an answer.
