Im in 7th grade here and i absolutely love it. Many parents dont want their children going here because its known for gangs and fights. It all depends on who you child hangs out with. I dont see any bullying all fights are just girls wanting to starts drama and its over stupid things like earings. One thing that dos need to be changed is ISS. I know many kids who purposely want to go to ISS because its better than sitting in a classroom. My testing location is in the gym and when were done with testing we usually play basketball or dodgeball and the ISS students come and play with us. Lunch is very well organized and they push us very hard on FCAT. In the 7th grade hallaway theres posters every where and banners in every hallway counting down the days till FCAT. I love all my teachers and they work very hard for preparing us for the future.

Most of the comments I see about this school are OLD. My daughter goes to this school and I do not feel it is any less safe than any other PBC middle school. Of course there are student fights, but that happens at most, if not all public middle schools. My daughts is in all advanced classes and in 2 years we have only had one teacher we were not happy with. There was an administration change before we started and I think that has changed some things. Another change to a strong leader would be welcomed.
I have had a terrible experience with this school for the last four years. I'm a tax paying community resident and the quality of about 85% teachers there display the most uneducated attitude, the female teachers dress like they are going for a night out on the town. The school has a poor learning environment definitely not conducive to learning. There are only a handful of teachers who really do care. It does not help that they bus in 85% from homes that clearly have household adults with no positive role models for those kids. There needs to be some serious change in that administration for it to succeed, it has gone from A to a C on the verge of a D....I did a major diservice sending my kids to that school!!!
Hey i am a honor roll student that use to attend jeaga that school is not the best but it is not the worst this school has its ups and downs as do most schools but the teachers are great and show professionalism when around the students and this school has many memorable moments that a child would not want to forget and study hall isn't a bad thing it actually helps your child to get his or her homework done that they couldn't do the night before or get new homework out of the way and yes the students are not that great but they are quite a bit of students who are a good fit for your child as friends and parents should trust and insure that there child maintain a good behavior and grades not get influenced by others who do wrong
if you love your child you will not sent your kids to this school.....alot of the teachers gossip and act like there from the streets.the only good teacher at the school is mr.williams,mrs.siddique,and mrs.steinmetz.there is a fight everyday and the teachers do absolutely nothing. This is coming from a straight "A" student in all honers classes and that has been there since 6th grade.....the 8th grade teachers are the best.....DO NOT PUT YOUR KIDS IN THIS HARMFUL ENVIRONMENT.
I think this is the worst school in palm beach county! They actually have study hall as a REQUIRED ELECTIVE!?! Really what is that teaching our children that its okay to sit for a whole class period and gossip which leads to more fights at this disastrous school! Then phone calls from teachers about your child's behavior and they decide to complain about their job, the pay...etc. Then to actually hear the teacher on the phone complaining about all the kids in her class at that moment and hear this teacher tell students and I QUOTE " Well that was STUPID" Wow what an example they are setting for our future generation. Sad and shameful! Needless to say my child will not be attending this school next year if it takes every resource I can dig up.
as a student atteding the school I love all the teachers and the policiies like dress code make us look like were in school not the streets and many more reasons why Ilove this school. but what I dislike is the students.
This school is good, not great. It was more organized and put together when our last principal, Mr. D, was here. Our new principal is more laid back, and although it can be good, there are times when professionalism needs to be shown. I wouldn't say it is dangerous because it is really about who you associate with. I am in 8th grade here and I love it. The sports here are wonderful and our school spirit sure shows at the games, 'Go Mustangs'! :-). We also have an afterschool program that has almost every activity available. I would recommend this school, but playing a sport, if you play one, plays a big role in who you hang out with.
Best school ever ! yes teachers gossip alot , yes there are alot of fights but wat school doesn't ; i'm comming from streets where you see fight infront of your house almost every day and theres nothing i can do about it . I dont like violance and the principle has done all he could to stop it but i feel like he cares more about are school rating then our success , which did i mention we're an 'A' school [= ,well i do have to mention jeaga has the best teachers ever go Mrs.Mangaroo , go Mrs.Pryce , Mrs.Davids oh and can't leave out Mrs.Miller these ladies i mean woman have tought me that learning will lead me to success and im going to take that at heart for all my life and i wil never and i mean never forget these teachers.
Teachers at this school are very dedicated to their student's success. They work hard and push the students to reach their potential...hence the A rating of the school.
Dont send your kids to this school if you actually want them to learn something. The teachers gossip more then the students, its ridiculous - and then they go and talk about the students like they're the same age as the people they're talking about. I had a teacher who was so pathetic (harsh but true) that all she truly did was talk talk talk - qossip gossip gossip. They talk about the students to each other like they are the students; it's just sad, they really should grow up and get lives because obviously they dont becasue they spend the whole day talking about their students (as i said before) but some teachers were nice and actually taught someting othe then w'who was going out with him or what this girl said about that girl'
im in the eight grade and i think this school is very good but the teachers sometimes act like kids with all the gossip.i hated the fact that they also got away with talking about peoples kids
My daughter came to this school after going to a charter school and a private school. She loves this school. The move to public has been easy for my daughter. There is a concern for gangs at this school my daughter states there are alot of fights. But that might be due to the size of the school she has gone to and came from. All and All we are happy.
This school could be a great school if the principal would take some of the teachers' suggestions. Students are not given many ooportunities to have fun in or out of the classroom. The principal stresses more on the school's rating than the stduents' success. The teachers are good, but have lost their heart because administration won't let them teach the way they know works for the kids at this school.
The school is working very hard to keep us the parents and child very happy. Teachers need to keep our children's ed-line updated more often. As for all the pro comments for the sports they need coaches who know the game rules! The meaning of sportsmanship needs to be taught to both students and staff. By the way I know this as I attend my child's games. There is a need for more parent involvement for all of us to exceed.
I feel that the teachers at Jeaga are very dedicated. It is a B rated school and the teachers have worked very hard to hopefully gain an A rating. I believe that a lot of caring teachers work at Jeaga.
Not a very good school. My child with honor classes is not being challanged enough. I also have a child with an IEP who has not done well. I feel his learning disability isn't being adressed in the most effective way.
