I have two daughters in WES. One is in the 3rd grade and the other is in 1st grade. I have been thoroughly impressed with the teachers and parental involvement is welcomed. I will soon have a son at WES and I know he will excel just as my daughters have. You can't go wrong enrolling at WES!

I will have 3 kids in Wewahitchka Elementary School this next school year. The teachers are excellant on 98% of the time. Parental involvement is encouraged and the quailty of the academic programs are good, but could be better along with more art/craft/music and extracurricular activities for students with less extra costs.

My son attended and my daughter is in 5th grade there. It gets no better than WES. The teachers take an interest in the children, and not just there learning. My daughter had the same teacher in 1st and 2nd grade, she would buy shoes and clothes for the needy children in her class. Her 4th grade teacher at Christmas instead of exchaning gifts we made boxes with school supplies and gave them to needy children. You have to have a good education but you also need to have compassion and love for others. Our Children at WES get all of the above.
