My child entered the elementary level classroom this year, having had Montessori education at a much larger school. The experience has been amazing. The teachers and staff truly embody the whole child approach to education and their genuine respect for each child is reflected in everything that they do. We are fortunate to have found this amazing school.

This is an outstanding school with some of the most committed teachers I have ever met. The new Head of School this year has brought great life to an already vibrant school. My four children are thriving at this fantastic school!

Bravo Little Flower Montessori. An asset to the Fort Lauderdale, Broward community and inspiration to educators in South Florida. My children have atttended since the age of 3 and have had the oppurtuinity to experience conventional education. The expanse of education provided by Little Flower is fantastic.

My daughter has been at Little Flower for five years now. I love this school. My older children attended very good traditional private schools which were fine but Little Flower is amazing. It is truly a community that works together for the children to succeed. Teachers are all very committed to the success of the children and development of a love of learning, self confidence and a live well lived.

This school shines!!!! Staff is excellent!! Children are taught in a warm, loving enviornment. Teachers go in depth with each child and give them freedom to move at their pace with structure. Teachers focus deeply on each child to form a well rounded child. Academically strong, morally and socially concious students. Self confidence soars at Litttle Flower!! If you want the best for your child then LFM is your school.

Little Flower is a perfect combination of education in a nurturing environment. The teachers and staff are committed to the children, learning and respecting each individual personality and needs. To sit and observe in one of the classes is always an experience that confirms I made the best choice for my son. Parents of LFM are involved and enhance what the school already offers. If Montessori teaching is an atmosphere your child thrives in then Little Flower is a top choice. My son has been in LFM for the last 2 1/2 years and has a love for learning and new challenges that you don't see often in today's children who sometimes get frustrated and discouraged in a traditional school atmosphere. I am very excited for his future in education as his beginning path is right on target.

Little Flower is an amazing preschool! When I first observed the classroom, I couldn't believe how quiet and peaceful it was in there. Because Montessori combines pre-k 3, pre-k4, and kindergarten into one classroom, the younger children observe and emulate the older ones. My children could not wait to learn to read because they wanted to do what the big kids were doing. To this day they love reading. The teachers are amazing. You are allowed to observe any time you want, and I never once heard a teacher raise their voice, which is a lot more than I can say for the public elementary school my kids now attend. The lessons at Little Flower build on each other and instill a love of learning. Respect for self and others is very effectively taught, as is neatness. Every child learns to push in their chair, clean up their lesson, and roll up their rug when they are finished. Little Flower also has an elementary school which goes through 6th grade, which I wish was true of public elementary. The teachers are amazing and the elementary school kids are like a family. It is a great school and I am so glad my kids were able to attend the preschool.

Both of my children went to Little Flower back in the day when it was owned and operated by 'Miss Edie' Cronin. Now, it is directed by Edie's daughter, 'Miss Mary' and it has always been a wonderful school in every respect. We miss it.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.

Oops! We currently do not have any student information for this school. We rely on the state Department of Education, the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES), and in some cases school administrators such as registrars and principals for this data.
