My daughter attended 5th grade at Woodland for 1/2 a year. Afterwards, we moved to the Forsyth County school district. We had such a bad experience with the 5th grade teachers at Woodland. The curricula that the math and science teachers used did not prepare the students for the Georgia state exam. The science teach even admitted to me that he was not able to get through all the necessary lessons. Instead, he would instruct the students to study certain chapters on their own - so they could receive extra credit on a major exam, if they got the question right. My daughter's science and english teachers never wanted to help my daughter when she would raise her hand to ask a question about a lesson being taught in class. Since we lived in Forsyth County, my daughter's grades have improved. With that said it made no sense for us to pay more money to purchase a home within that school district. The schools are 10 times better just a few miles North of Highway 400 AND the property is a lot less expensive. Areas like Alpharetta and Cumming, GA are becoming a lot more diverse, which is also a big plus.

Woodland is a consistent community school where the teaching staff is top notch. I am on my 6th year at Woodland and have been very pleased with how the staff listens to me and makes sure that my 3 children get the best education possible. I am also super impressed with the schools focus on STEM and STEAM in the curriculum. My kindergartener last year used iPads in the classroom, a smart board, and explored the campus to make learning about science fun. Another amazing school wide effort was the field trip to the High; where all 900+ students, teachers, and volunteers loaded up on buses to see a symphony, tour the High artwork, and watch a play. This was so well organized and ran so smoothly, and what an experience to see our entire school packing the symphony hall. Every year I am more impressed!

Over the course of my sons K-5 years, the staff has gone through some adjustments and changes but the current principal and assistant principal are working hard to make this community school academically stronger. The diversity of the student body gives my child a true representation for "the real world". The Talented and Gifted Program lead by Mrs. Husack and Mrs. Artzi has been an adventure that inspires my son to learn and question what he reads and is told. My 5th grader is intrigued with History/Social Studies and Science thanks to Mr. Hinson. My son is prepared for the academic life of Middle School and the social challenges he may have to address with many more pre-teen kids in the mix! The community support is good through the efforts of the active PTA, and there is opportunity for even full-time working parents to be involved and help out!

Dedicated to putting students first, Administration is comitted to supporting students needs first. Parents are dedicated to the school and volunteer countless hours. The dedication of the staff to the STEM program is amazing. Best practices are used daily and expected for all staff to incorporate daily. The staff work with parents and each other wonderfully all to benefit student achievement.

My son has attended this school for three years. I have been happy with our experience thus far. As a second grader, my son has a homeroom teacher and switches classes midway through the day. I thought this was great, and allows the children a "change of scenery," making the day more interesting. Another thing that makes this a great school is the diversity. My son has met children from "everyone." The PTA, as well as the parents are very active and make the school events go off without a hitch. The teachers are dedicated to the children and come in early or stay late to tutor students. Overall, it's a great school and community.

I absolutely have loved every teacher my children have had while attending Woodland. Both of my children enjoy attending school and learning which I contribute to great teachers. My daughter had an easy transition into school because she would come with me while I volunteered in her brother's kindergarten class. My son had issues on the school bus with other children picking on him on several occasions and the vice principal addressed my concerns immediately.

Woodland has been a wonderful school for my child! He has made leaps and bounds with his reading because of the school's ability to meet all the different levels in his class. Recently during a parent conference, I was thrilled to see that he is now performing on an accelerated (above grade level) level. I am also excited about the new STEM initiative and recently saw in the newsletter that the school received almost $200,000 to use towards STEM. An all around great school!!

Woodland does an outstanding job of preparing all students to reach their highest potential. The school has worked very hard this year towards becoming a STEM school, which directly aligns with the needs of our future workforce. As a feeder school for a STEM charter high school (North Springs) WES is beginning early to prepare our future scientists and mathematicians. I would encourage parents to visit the school and learn more about all the great programs that are offered. It should also be noted that the school recently received a CCRPI (College and Career Readiness Performance Index) score of 85.8, which was far higher than district and state averages. Our teachers are top notch and are always willing to go the extra mile on behalf of our students. Way to go Woodland!!

What you need to know: Woodland is a center school for students with special needs from all over Fulton County. They have an amazing staff that caters to students from moderate to profound disorders who comprise about 10 percent of the student population. They are in the process of becoming STEM certified. That means the school will have to meet an exceptional criteria for a certification focused on Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. If you want your student to have the background to succeed in the real world pay attention to that! 80% of the jobs in the next 10 years will require technical skills and an understanding of engineering processing. I believe Woodland is heads above other schools and has a real focus on the future. I am a parent with a rising second grader and chose Woodland over area private schools and to date, am not disappointed. They are blessed with a truly wonderful staff, involved parents and fortunate to have many local businesses patterning to make a difference.

Woodland is a wonderful school, that puts into to place many opportunities for students to learn and excel. Organizaitonal skills are always a challage at any age. We at Woodland provide students with agendas to record assignments and due dates. Thursday folders are weekly providing feedback to both students and parents. School communication is sent home each Thrusday. Students' ability to organize goes beyond the school environment and starts with responsibilies in the home, such as chores. At an elementary school level, homework time should be provided and supervised by a parent. That is not to say that parents do the homework. Understanding child development will help in fostering organizational skills at all levels. In classrooms throughout Woodland students are taught to refer back to texts, show proof in what they have read, and to articulate both orally and in written form what they are learning. A great reference for both parents and educators is a book entitled The Hurried Child. Check it out!

My eldest attended Woodland for pre-k through 5th grade. His teachers were always warm and friendly and I feel they genuinely cared about him but a lot of school training fell through the cracks. At the start of the year your child will come home with homework and assignments and that will be about as rigorous as it gets. By the time they come back from winter break, there is no where near the same amount of time spent on homework and followup. My now middle schooler went into middle school with no organizational skills, no real idea on how to DO school because he was never taught. These kids can't organize a binder, they never learn how to effectively study, nor do they learn to take notes because everything is on perforated tear out workbook pages. Time is not spent teaching the kids to DO school but it is in elementary school that this needs to happen. Maybe this is the way it ends up at many schools but just know that your kids are not coming out of Woodland with the skills they need to handle middle school. Get tutors, or something to teach them how to actually study and how to take notes. They aren't learning it there.

Seriously this is a really good school. First, the staff actually cares about their students and their learning process. Most of the teachers are seasoned and know how to handle all kinds of students. The principal is the hardest working woman I've seen and her children attend the school as well, which makes a difference. Don't let the test scores fool you, this school has a large special needs populations compared to the county and all scores are considered together. And it is because of it special needs, economic and racial diversity in my opinion makes the school outstanding. Although the school has over 900 students, the administrative staff knows almost every child by name. The down side is their parent involvement, as in most parents consider the school a baby sitting service and unfortunately the PTA is not as diverse. They can stand to have some color and other economic diversity, (think county club). Once the STEM program has taken off, it will only improve the school. I do wish they had more affordable after-school clubs and a better lunch program which reflected healthy eating, Not every school is perfect, but couldn't ask for a better school.

I agree with the last post. The teachers my daughter had for kindergarten and first grade so far, we're great but the school's staff is a bit too abrasive. As a parent that attends all the major events, I spend enough time here to say that I have witnessed some of the staff treat the children like adults. I'm all for responsibility and discipline but I don't like the way the staff speaks to the children. Also, their carpool is a complete mess.. They still have some work to do at this school. Next year my daughter will be attending private school. I rather pay for a quality education and staff to go with it.

I think it's ok. They kind of treat the kids like they should be the staff. They also don't have free dress on special occasions. I like how they develop the children's minds. Education is very important, but the school needs to fix some things.

I am so proud of the education that my grandchildren are receiving at Woodland elementary. The Principal and her administrative are extremely caring and responsive. The teahcers are dedicated and provide the 950+ students with wonderful hands-on, challenging experiences. It saddens me to hear of the negative posts that a few have left. My guess is these individuals have not taken the opportunity to get involved at the school. Hands-down the best school aound and test performance is above the state average. As a former educator this is incredibly impressive for a special needs center school!

I am sure that all schools fluff the numbers of student to teacher ratios by adding in support staff, parapros, etc but the avg student teacher ratio in the actual classroom and not in the building at large is more like 25:1.

My child attended Woodland for a few months and I must say I was VERY disappointed. For this school to be a charter school their focus was TOTALLY off. My son had left a Christian base school with more curriculum guidance than Woodland. I got more behavior notices and random calls about foolishness than homework. I do believe in discipline but I also believe that the teacher should know how to keep their kids busy. I did not take my son out of the school due to these issue but due to relocation and I'm happy I did. All of the issues I dealt with here was amazing. Once my son left this school the new teachers told me EXACTLY what I needed to do for my son to help him. With my son only being 5 years old it was more guidance.

Woodland is a school that has been ahead of the curve in curriculum and instruction since the new administration has been put in place. The administration has provided an abundance of support and staff development for all teachers. They have made their expectations clear for teachers and provided us many tools to meet those expectations. I have worked at many schools and by far the staff, parents and adminstration are top quality. Teachers have high expectations for themselves as do administrators in how hard and effective they work. I would recommend any teacher to work here and you will be treated with respect and challenged at the same time. Other schools are visiting our school to learn from us on a very frequent basis.

Woodland Elementary is a wonderful school, and I am honored to be able to teach at this school. The current administration has a vision that involves teachers utilizing various best practices, such as guided reading, literacy stations, and math stations, which all allow teachers to meet the unique needs of each child. The administration has high expectations of the teachers, just as teachers should have high expectations of not only the students but also themselves. Woodland is becoming the place to tour in Fulton County. Numerous schools and individual Fulton County employees have come to see the guided reading room as well as literacy and math stations in action!! Change requires a lot of dedication, patience, and a constant vision. As a teacher, I understand the administration's vision and fully support it. I personally feel that the minute things become stagnant, then we, as educators, are not helping children one bit. As aforementioned, I am extremely grateful to work in a school with such a great vision, and I, too, would recommend any professional educator to consider Woodland!

I completely disagree with the last two posts. The current administration has turned the morale at our school around, as well as worked on policies/procedures put in place by Fulton County - improving it immensely for the betterment of the education and growth in our students. We have three children there and are in constant communication with their teachers - they LOVE our school, administration and most importantly our kids! We have seen them go above and beyond to teach and foster a warm learning environment for everyone there. Get involved at the school and you will be amazed at all the opportunities provided to our children - it's impressive all that they are learning.

I am shocked to read the negative posts. I am parent and have been at Woodland for 4 yrs now. I have found the teachers to be exceptional! Hands down, they all cared about my children and me as a parent. My kids have loved the school too! Which says everything. We have a lot of working families in our school, and those parents do a great job of getting involved when they can. For those parents that are able, they volunteer and are dedicated to supporting the teachers and staff. Furthermore, the curiculum is very dynamic and constantly adjusting to today's needs. And this is hard to do. Teachers are so creative at finding just the right tools for their class based on their students. We have new and veteran teachers in our school. It is sad to read that a teacher feels they way they do below. I hope this is not a current teacher, it just seems so out of character. Thankfully I don't have a lot of need to be in the Admin office since my kids are thriving. But when I have, they are always eager to see me and sit down with me to discuss whatever. The new asst princ is just the nicest guy. My kids love him too. He is positive and so in tune with the students.

Woodland is an outstanding school! I have one child who has been at Woodland for three years and she has always been challenged and nurtured by her teachers. My other daughter graduated from Woodland exceedingly prepared for Middle School. A very high percentage of the teachers at Woodland have Masters Degrees or additional certifications and care deeply about our children. The 9 teachers that we have had over the years have ALL been top rate educators who are communicative and encouraged classroom visits and volunteerism. The administration has implemented a positive discipline plan that has created a sense of community and excitement at Woodland. We love our school and are highly involved on a daily basis. I imagine that people who are writing unkind and untrue reviews have never attempted to be an engaged parent at the school or they would realize how wrong they are.

As a parent I would like to thank the teachers my children have had at Woodland Elementary. They have been truly exceptional! I think it is amazing how well the needs of ALL students are met, from TAG students to Special Education. The teachers understand the needs of every student in their class and know exactly how to challenge each student. My children love school because their teachers are so caring and are even willing to provide tutoring before and after school. I have never seen such a dedicated staff! The programs at Woodland are challenging and tailored to meet the needs of every child. I know that my childrens are receiving an education that will prepare them for success in college.

It saddens me to see that a parent and staff member have posted that Woodland is a below average school. I am also concerned because a specific statistic (9 out of 10) was used, but yet no information was given about the source of the information. If there is such a survey that conveys this information, then I have not been made aware of it. Now with that being said, are there areas for improvement? Of course. Is the majority of the school striving to improve in these areas? Yes. These past few years have been turbulent, but despite all the events that have happened, Woodland has still been able to give an exceptional education to the students. The MAJORITY of teachers and staff at the school genuinely care about each and every student, so please don't let the minority dictate your impression of our school.

I am a parent, and I have been reading these reviews with some surprise. My daughter goes to Woodland, and I have to say that I've been disappointed. The school doesn't really care. We receive notices of truancy even though our daughter was ill and a note was submitted each time. We don't have any follow-up on important issues. We can't really speak to the teacher or visit the classroom. The school does not fix errors after the assistant principal admitted there were errors. I really wonder about this school and these other wonderful reviews on this site.

What a great academic environment! We love Woodland! This is our third year at Woodland and we have been continually impressed by the level of education our daughter is receiving. The faculty is top notch and rises to the occassion to meet the needs of all students. We love the diviersity of the school. I believe there are 32 countries represented at the school. International night is such a great opportunity to celebrate this wonderful diversity! Additionally, Woodland has a wonderful inclusion special needs program. It is heart warming to watch all children interact and even more so to watch the superior dedication the special needs teachers. Kindergarten classes have two teachers per class with only 20 students! All classrooms are very spacious and bright. The school is clean and very well run. It is hard to believe that almost 950 students are attending this school, you would not know this by walking the halls. It is a very quiet and orderly, amazing!

Woodland is a great school, with fantastic teachers and administration. Parental involvement is lacking, but anyone who puts in the effort to be involved at the school can and will see its strengths. The negative post about Ms. Gamble is nuts, and I think reflects on the writer more than the principal. We do have a handful of problem students, and the administration - Ms. Gamble and Vice Principal Dr. Shields - have worked out an excellent discipline process that is both transparent and fair.

We love Woodland!! This is our third year at Woodland and we are more than happy with the school. We have loved all the teachers and staff we have worked with over the years. They are professional, courteous, organized and motivate and inspire the kids. Yes, it is very diverse, but this is representative of our city of Atlanta. Both my husband and I work full time but we make an effort to stay very involved in the school. The more you put in, the more you get out! As for the front staff, I have always found them to be professional and focused on the well being of the students.

Woodland has teachers that care, are involved and interested in their students lives and academically, which says alot about a school. No one school is perfect, but Woodland is constantly working with the teachers & staff to implement the most productive academic practices & also supporting the teachers well with what they need to do this. Our 2 children there have been able to thrive & enjoy school, even with the higher classroom numbers we all have at our schools now. Thx, Woodland!

I am very satisfied in having my children attending Woodland. The teachers are highly trained, highly motivated, and inspire my children to try their hardest. Although the school has had some bumps in the road, our new principal, Amy Gamble, is leading the school in a positive new direction by keeping programs that are working, making improvements as needed, and eliminating practices that were not benefitting the school or the students. There's a new sheriff in town at Woodland Charter Elementary School. With Mrs. Gamble at the helm, both the mood and atmosphere have changed. Much of the staff is new to the school this year although not new to teaching. The veterans are the teachers who want to be there and who are committed to the students. We go above and beyond in the classroom. Students are actively engaged in the learning environment. They are receiving the best education by some of the best professionals in the education field. I m proud to say I m a Woodland Wildcat!

This is my fourth year teaching at Woodland and have really enjoyed my experience. There are many great teachers who are helpful and really care about their students. I feel that the Administration has been supportive this year and great in providing new strategies and materials to provide a better learning experience for our students. I am glad to be a teacher at Woodland

This is my first year teaching at Woodland and I love it. Administration, especially the principal, is wonderful and supportive. My peers make me feel welcome every day and I feel a true sense of camaraderie. Most importantly, I adore my students and do my best every day to ensure that they are having fun while learning and being challenged. I have found a home at Woodland and know that anyone who chooses to work or go to school here will too.

I have taught at Woodland for five years, and it has been an amazing teaching experience. The administration, parents, and staff have all been very supportive in providing the best education for the students at Woodland. The Woodland staff provides quality instructions, sets high expectations for student achievement, and works assiduously to meet the needs of all students. I enjoy every moment at Woodland. The workload and obstacles are no more at Woodland than any other school or work environment. I feel respected and empowered to express my creativity in the classroom. I was happy as a parent and remain happy as a staff for Woodland s culturally diverse and positive school climate. In my opinion, Woodland continues and will always be a school of excellence!

Do not move in this district. My daughter attended Woodland last year. My goodness, what a HORRIBLE experience. We moved at the first opportunity. I am so fortunate to have had the opportunity to move; many don't. Now my daughter attends a school with teachers who are not burnt out, children whose parents actually care about their education. The dynamics at Woodland are simply not worth it.

Many of what the parents say about this school is true! If you are going to send your child/children here beware. For the cost of the homes around this school you would hope for much more.

My child attends Woodland and this will be her last year. My child unfortanately did not receive a great teacher. The school does not take suggestions and refuse to view ideas in learning styles. Each child does not learn the same. The school had a few incidents of missing children being let off at the incorrect bust stops at the beginning of the year. In addition, the principal will portray she cares but neglects safety of children, i.e. the incident with the shooting at a nearby daycare and the school failed to go on lock down only to have a boosterthon event. There are many great teachers at this school, but some teachers that show the are there to collect a pay check needs to quit or retire.

From CONCERNED PARENT Rating Area - Parent Involvement Woodland does offer many opportunities for parents and the community to participate in activities and student support programs. There are times that the volunteers are not effectivley used (3.5 stars). The school does notify parents about volunteer opportunities via newsletter, flyers, e-mail, etc. Great Schools criteria within this area asks if the school "encourages" parent participation. The answer is two-sided -- Yes, if you do exactly as they want and No, if you have questions or suggestions. Another part, and to me the most important, is if parents are treated as partners. If I was married to Woodland I would run away to a shelter and beg the courts to give me a divorce! Going against the "Woodland way" can leave you bruised and battered (2 stars).

We had very good teacher last year, but we can t say the same this year. This year, teacher doesn t care if our children learn or not. Teacher is not willing to put out the extra effort on students that need more help. I have seen some teachers left the school before 2:30 PM.

My son went to Kindergarten at Woodland last year. He had Ms. Fritchie and Ms. Fineis. I can't say enough wonderful things about them. I will have two there next year. I was at the school a lot and witnessed wonderful interactions between the staff, teachers and students. I think it says a lot about a school when 50 private school families have chosen Woodland next year over the private schools. Like anything else...parent involvement is key to your child's success. There is a lot of opportunity for the parents to get involved. We're looking forward to another great year at Woodland!!!

Just from reading parents' reviews on not just WECS, it is said to see that the opinions take zero consideration to the nature of their child and his/her home experience. We came to WECS from a private school, where we thought that was the best choice for us to ensure great education and a healthy social environment. We were wrong. Our experience at Woodland was very pleasant. The teachers and staff are amazing and caring. Both our children love their school and take pride in being part of it. Go WECS! you don't have to fork out thousands of dollars for private education when you have a school like Woodland where the school and the parents CARE!:-)

My child has been in the school since Kindergarten and has been in TAG as well. I have to say although I would love to see a few things change, for the most part it's a pretty good school. The new Principle is very nice and if you ever would like to meet with her, her door is always opened. She has a soft look that will melt you away. I am very grateful that my daughter goes to Woodland, I wouldn't have it any other way.

I was suprised at the quality of Woodland after coming from High Point....thank god it's so much better! The teachers work hard, the parents are involved, and the kids actually learn! I am looking forward to getting more involved myself. I laughed at the poster who wrote that diversity is 'a parent's dream'...what a nutjob. My dream is that my child will get a good education. I don't care care about the color of anyone's skin.

I love this school I have two kids , one of my daughters graduated from here. I wanted my childrenn to attend this school becasuse of the last Principal ( Dr. Price ) she was great, I still have one more child in this school she is in second grade the second grade team is great. My only concern this year is the new principal has been there one has of October 2008 I has a parent only incounter with her one time , it's amazing because I'm at thi school 5 times a day. I see the asst. principal at least 4 days out of the five in the halls interacting with parents an students. Outside of the New Principal not being very interactive , this school is great , the diversity in this school allow every child to see the world like a rainbow ( that's a dream for parents)

We have two kids and we're starting our third year at Woodland. Our experience with the teachers (including TAG) has been exceptionally good. Ditto for the Assistant Principals and counselors. I loved the previous principal (Dr. Price) but haven't interacted with the new one enough to form an opinion. The academics are challenging, the parent involvement is high, and the kids love going to school. I do agree with a previous post that as a parent it is hard to connect if you are new, because the parents aren't overly welcoming. However, the kids had no problems making friends the first day and have no complaints. The school has great diversity, which we like.

I love this school. In a few weeks all three of my children will be enrolled there. My oldest son is entering the fourth grade and is well prepared. Ms. Jackson did an outstanding job preparing him. She knows her students individuality and takes the time to cater to their individual learning styles. My youngest son was a student in Mrs. Schaffer's kindergarten class. He's a rather boisterous child, and she was able to help control him and prepare him for the next level. I love, love, love Woodland. The parents and the faculty make this school great.

We have not been overly impressed with the school/teacher. Our child's teacher has not been very enthusiastic or involved and there appear to be several children with daily behavioral issues that disrupt the class and must be dealt with. The student/teacher ratio is higher than last year as well. We are looking elsewhere for next year unfortunately.

This school proved to be what every public school should strive to be. The principal; Dr. Price and her faculty, proved to us that one does not have to spend thousands of dollars on private schools to get dedicated teachers and great learning.. Our child is the only one I know who looks forward to Mondays, so that he could be with his teachers and his classmates. Need I say more?

WECS is a great school! My family has been here for the past four years; my kids are in 1st & 4th grade. My first year at WECS was not pleasant; the atmosphere was not welcoming to new parents who were not active volunteers. But as a working parent it is very had to volunteer and provide for your family. Anyway, my second year and so on has been nothing but a pleasant surprise, the staff and teachers are exceptional; especially Mrs. Lawther/Mrs. Finies, Mrs. Alt, Mrs. Schuetz and Mrs. E. Walker. These teachers are very loving, caring and highly qualified teachers. They care about these kids just as if they were there own. The other teachers are wonderful also; I just have never really had a one-on-one experience with them. I love this school and will remain in this district so that my kids can continue here.

My son attended a private school for two years, until we decided to put him at Woodland (for financial reasons and for hearing so many positive things about Dr. Price; the principal. In the month or so he's been there, it amazes me how much he's learned. We were getting ready to move from our current home, but b/c of Woodland, we plan on sticking around as it turned out to be a great district to be in!

This is a wonderful and nurturing environment for my child. She is learning at a pace that I can barely believe. Everyone that I have come into contact has been 100% above my level of expectations. I will continue to live in this neighborhood just because of this wonderful school. The principal, the teachers, the PTA, ....they are a great team; and my child benefits.

Woodland offers a core curriculum that is better than some private schools. The specialty areas of music, art and physical education have an excellent teaching staff and offers a highly competitive curriculum as well. Our media center and television studio is exceptional. The faculty and staff at Woodland is caring and appear to truly enjoy working at Woodland. New parents should know that this school is very family-friendly. Parents and family are always welcome to visit or volunteer.

Woodland is a great school! My child has been at Woodland since kidergarten. He is now in 3rd grade. The high quality of the instruction, the caring teachers, the great lidership provided by our Principal, Noris Price, the different programs (music, band, orchestra, art, Spanish, physical education, etc), parent involment, to name a few, make of Woodland the school I always wanted for my son so that he becomes a well-rounded boy.

Better than any Private School! I speak from experience! Having had my children in an elite Private School for the first 4 years of their life, finding this Public School with a superb quality of education that supersedes any Private School's, was like finding a diamond in my back yard! Woodland has unprecedented parental involvement, an incredible art program, foreign language, and an 'out of this world' science lab that is attended by every single child in the school from PK - 5th and Special Needs! My children have never felt more loved and given the encouragement to excel beyond even what I ever thought they could! With the team work of Woodland's Staff and Award Winning PTA, it is THE BEST school for any child! The MOST BEAUTIFUL aspect of Woodland is we embrace our diversity; be it social, racial, economical, mental or physical! What an incredible place for ANY child to learn!

Woodland is a fantastic school! Every student is well educated - whatever their level, and all students are taught using the Talented and Gifted Teaching Strategies, not just the students who test into the TAG program. This is my oldest child's sixth year there, and every year he has had wonderful, caring teachers who challenged him to work hard and do his best. Every parent is involved up at the school, as that is required by the educational contract.

We have been at this school for 5 years - 2 children, both children are in the TAG program and are well served. It is a school where the principal and staff all know the children's name and who they are- it is a very well rounded education with high expectations and the diversity makes it the perfect place to teach your children about the world.

This school is superb! The leadership of the principal, Mrs. Price is extraordinary. I have had two children there and have been pleased with the dedication of the all the staff. The environment and educational level is comparable to an academic excellent private school. Woodland is an institution where execellence in education is met at its finest. Parents are active participants in their children's education. It was an excellent choice for our children since moving here from Michigan.
