My daughter has attended IPI for a couple of years, now. the academic programs are Excellent. There is a true care and love for the students. All children no matter what age is truly learning. The Headmaster's new saying 'all children will learn and all children will have the upmost education. My child eats fresh food everyday. Some of the breakfast meals, I'd like to purchase to eat on my way to work. The parents are always welcomed to come by the school during learning hours. There has been lots of positive thing happening @ IPI. Just stop by and I'm sure, you will entroll your child.

The school has a wonderful foundation for building a child's thirst for knowledge however the politics of the pta and the biased, family based management of the school often leads to poor organization and confusion. Teachers over discipline the children, no hitting or anything but environment is too stifling. There needs to be more balance of academics and encouragment of creative individuality. I find that a lot of activities are dog and pony shows designed to impress parents and attract people to the school. I suspect in some era of the school's near 30 years of existance, the school represented exactly what it claims to be now but a new era of fresh, non-biased (non family member) talent needs to help this school become what it once was. There are also lots of money issues in regards to the nickel & dime activities that are poorly planned and executed.

I would not recommend this school if you are a parent who really wants to be involved and ask questions about your child's performance. The early school teachers are excellent but the quality slips, starting in Kindergarten. The fact that the school is family owned plays a major role in the administration's antagonistic response to parent inquiries about any concerns they may have. There is no higher regulating authority that can intervene on parents' behalf and make sure the children are the focal point of the school's operation. If you are personally connected to the school, your child will get preferential treatment.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
