The teachers here are so helpful, and work long hours to make each and every student is prepared. They run various clubs, as well as offer tutoring for those who need it. There are around ten clubs, such as Science Team, Envirothon, TSA, FBLA, FCA, SkillsUSA, FFA, and several others. The teachers run these clubs, and many also coach sports. If you are a student in need, we keep a "coat closet" full of clothes to give away. If you go to school here, you will loved and taken care of. Appling County High School's alumni go to colleges such as the University of Georgia, Florida State, Emory, and GA Tech, all extremely prestigious schools, and the excellent college/ career center in the guidance office will help you go and do anything that you want to.

I love it here. I'm involved in the sports program and other activities. Our work enviroment is among the best. It's a small enough school that everyone here is family.

Very limited educational benefits at the school. Seems that the school is a little to worried about sports and not offering demanding classes.

I like some of the teachers.. But im not crazy about some of the rules.. I understand some of them are for safety reasons but some arent necessary... I hate the lunches at our school because you have 30 minutes.. That leaves 15 - 20 minutes to stand in line to get ur food.. And 10-15 minutes to find a table.. Eat.. Talk to friends .. And then trow everything away

I believe that they shouldnt be so strict about certain things such as dress code and things of that nature. I also believe that the children should be allowed time with the teachers after school for more one on one time especially those who are having trouble in certain classes such as social studies us& world history, math, and science.
