Great school! Teachers are willing to go the extra mile to assist students in any way needed.

All 3 of my children have attended Bloomingdale Elem. I have been nothing less than pleased. We have a fabulous principal, who truly cares for the students there. I have been so happy that I would not pull my kids out, even if we hit the lottery :)

I used to be impressed by this school, but this year has been a disappointment for our family. It seems the spirit of the school has changed and I am not the first to notice. The fifth grade program is substandard, in my opinion. My fifth grader was working on addition timed tests for the first quarter. I feel the arts programs are strong, but the leadership is remote to the needs of families.

This is an excellent school! The kids have lots of fun and learn at the same time. My oldest son has an Autism Spectrum Disorder. We just moved him to this school last year, because we were so tired of fighting with the school he had previously went to. I must say that I was very impressed. Our first IEP meeting went so smoothly. We didn't have to fight for anything. They just automatically gave it to him. They looked out for his best interest. I felt like such a weight had been lifted off me. The special ed department is just awesome....the teachers are great as well. There is lots of parental involvement, which I believe has a lot to do with their success. All three of my children will be attending Bloomindale this year. I wouldn't have them anywhere else.

Three of my four children has had the wonderful opportunity to attend Bloomingdale elem. We love it . It reminds me of elem. when I was in elem. school. They teach respect of everyone, and to always do your best. My 11 yer. old will go onto middleschool this year. She will miss it. There is alot of parent partispation. The faculty care about theeir children, and the staff are wonderful. Mr. King, is a very careing and well rounded principal and fair with all of his children attending Blooingdale. I also have a special needs child. She is well taken care of acedemically and is challenged to do her best,in a loving careing way. I am a very proud Blooingdale parent. This school should be set as a model,of how all schools should be ran. Thank You Bloomingdale Staff, for being good rol models for our dear children!

Four of my children attended bloomingdale elm. When we moved from s.C. I fell in love with the school and its staff. My son and daughter joined strings. The music teacher is excellent! my children really enjoyed mrs cato's dance class. Mrs franklin was also popular with my children. I feel the teachers place such high standards because they believe their students will achieve their goals. We now live out of state but i rant and rave that i have never come across such an outstanding school and staff as you all are fortunate enough to have/attend. I hope to continue my sons interest in violin at his new school. Thank you bloomingdale elm, especially mr king for the great experience and motivation you always gave us all!

I think this school is horrible! They teach ( if you can call it that) backwards and have zero regard for a persons individule growth. The PTA maks plans and then breaks them at the last minute when they plan to tell you about them at all. I strongly recommend never sending a child to this school.

My daughter started Bloomingdale in Kindergarten. I put her into the magnet program and the teachers have done nothing but encourage her. She does well in all of her subjects, and I really feel that it is in part, due to the high standard of parent involvement at the school. Teachers and officials are excellent. My daughter is on her way to fourth grade this next term, and I am already sad that for sixth we are going to have to find another school. Bloomingdale has been an excellent experience for both of us. I plan to send my son there when he is old enough.

My granddaughter has been in Bloomingdale School since Kindergarten. I can say that the teachers and staff are most caring. They will go the extra mile, to assure students of every learning opportunity.

My daughter started Bloomingdale for kindergarten, she will be going into the 2nd grade this fall. She loves going to school and loves all her teachers. The teachers there care very much about their students. I would not want to send my child anywhere else.
