Good teachers and administration but there is a SERIOUS SHIFT HAPPENING HERE THAT IS GOING TO MOUNT IN THE COMING YEARS. The culture isn't varied at this school. This school is minority dominated. Overcoming ESL students has cost this school science and social studies scores. And those are just measurable education factors. How else are we failing these citizens? Spanish teachers should teach hispanic students allowing for greater comprehension yet at the same time push American culture immersion. Children with English as a second language should be in a school setting that is respectful yet focused. "Corralling" Hispanics in a county to specific schools does the community and students a HUGE DISSERVICE!!!! EDUCATION FAILURE---- Unsure how to solve, but there are so many teachers with Ph.Ds and Masters in Education better able to resolve... I challenge you to fix this!

This is our second year at CES and we LOVE it! The teachers and staff are completely committed to doing their best for their students. The administrators are extremely supportive and, I think, it helps motivate the teachers to rise above expectations. It has been a great experience for us.

HORRIBLE teachers, 2-4 hours of home work every night! outdated material. Very unpleasant experience for my children and I.

My son started kindergarten there last year, and my younger son will be starting kindergarten there this fall. CES is an *excellent* school. The teachers are very patient and caring, they truly love the children, and the other staff (principal, vice principal, counselors, etc.) are just as wonderful. This is a wonderful school!

My son has been going to Cumming Elem for 3 years now and I could'nt ask for a better place for him to be. The teachers are caring and they want our children to learn. They will go that extra mile if they need to for a child. The Asst. Principal is just as caring and wonderfrul as the teachers.

Gravitt outstanding ladies. I hope that with the transition after next year to middle school is just as well. My two boys in 1st and 4th grade went to Cumming Elementary School in Sept.05 for three weeks after hurrican Katrina. The entire staff was very friendly and were willing to go out of their way to help my children during this trying time. Our family was blessed to have a home we could return to, but we felt very welcomed into the CES family while we were there. I really like the way the classes were set up and my children had a head start when their school opened in ST. Tammany Parish.

We are not only new to Cunmming, GA, but we are new to public school. We have homeschooled for the past 4 years. I love CES. The teachers, and pricipals have worked very eagerly with us to help our transition. The building and the people are wonderful! Thanks for making our experience a great one!

I am the parent of 4th grade Devin Porter and Kindergardener T.J. Porter. I have been very comfortable with the school and the systems they use. I would like to see more teacher parent comunication's. Overall, my kids are excited to go every day and have been very attched to the teachers. Thank you, Kelly Porter
