Ellijay Primary has a very caring, devoted staff that expects success with all their students.
This is a wonderful and caring school! All the teachers are friendly and helpful, and care about the students and one another. The school follows research based practices and uses the best methods for teaching. The students learn while having fun.
I love this school because the teachers work very hard to meet the needs of our diverse population. We are a rural school with a large Hispanic population. Our children usually only speak their dialect and are illiterate in both English and Spanish. What a difference these teachers make with these children. They not only meet their educational needs but make the community aware of other needs. We had a small child die of cancer; she died a princess because that is what she wanted to be and this school made it happen. The family was allowed to be with her and their bills were taken care of. I could mention many more incidents but I hope you get the picture. This is a great group of people nurturing the children of our community
They have amazing Teachers and Staff always willing to go the extra mile for all the children. I am proud to have my children past and present attending there.
It is like a big family. Everybody pitches in and takes care of each other. All the teachers and staff are wonderful! My son loves going to school there!
from the food to the teachers everything is great
At Ellijay Primary you get the sweet, loving and caring teacher's that should excist in so many other cities, counties, and even states. The staff has a heart of gold. The principal is such a wonderful and caring person. They constantly give and provide the love and attention that all the kids in this county require. I use to live in Florida and the schools there do not match up to this amazing school. The way they teach all together and they just do things as a team... I VOTE FOR THEM...
I love our school because of our staff. They truly care about our students and strive to make it a place where every child can learn.
Great school! We have really enjoyed having our child at Ellijay Primary! She has loved and enjoyed every year as well. She is in second grade and will be leaving the school this year and I know it will be sad for us and her. The principal has always been so very nice to us and has always been willing to take time out for us if we need her to. Each of our child's teachers have always been very nice and open as well. Be involved! Support our schools and our children!
This is a WONDERFUL school. The principal and asst. principal are more then willing to take the time to speak with anyone. They are open to ideas and suggestions. Any problems have been dealt with as they occured. I have never had a concern that was not dealt with in a timely fashion. Teachers really care about the kids. Several of them can be found there well after normal hours. Even in the summer! I wish they went higher then just 2nd grade.
