I recently moved to Jackson County and had heard rumors about how good the schools are. I was excited to find out that the rumours are true! The teachers and administration at this school are excellent! They obviously care about the children and their education by putting the time and effort into teaching and working with the students and encouraging them to succeed. Not only does this school have great education, but it is also fun for the students. I recently went to the Panther Pride Assembly in which the students earn awards for their efforts, and when I walked in I felt such energy and excitement in the room. The principal, vice principal, and all of the teachers were there encouraging students and cheering them on. Also, from what I have seen the students are also very welcoming and friendly. My children quickly made friends in their class. If there are any prejudices amongst students, I have not seen or heard of any. Overall, the students seem accepting of one another regardless of color, race, or religion. I love seeing all of the students getting along and having a fun time together! Excellent teachers, great leadership, and wonderful families!

My child has had an excellent experience at WJIS! The teachers at WJIS are fantastic and are always willing to go the extra mile. They have encouraged her to always do her best. They have helped her to excell academically and build her self esteem. She enjoys school and every day feels safe, loved and excited to learn!

This is an excellent school where kids exel in education and have fun at the same time. There are many great teachers who create a positive experience each day for the kids. They have high standards and expectations for their students. I am happy my child is eager to go to school each day.
