Amazing place for our kids to grow in both their academic excellence and their character. We have previously home-schooled, gone to private school, and now have had our kids enrolled in the Academy, Middle School and the High School. Last year the Academy and Middle School were #1 in the State in EXCEEDING CRCT scores. Our kids do not face many of the same pressures and pitfalls many of our friends' kids do in other schools. We feel very blessed to call the school and community home.

As recent graduate of Jefferson, I found the honors classes were every bit as rigorous and challenging as what many parents pay 20k or more for in private schools in Athens and Atlanta. The academics were excellent, and recent construction/restoration projects have lent a very refined look to the school grounds. With the skills and work ethic I gained at Jefferson, I was able to graduate early and at the very top of my class at Georgia Tech (one of the best engineering schools in the country), and am now at a top 20 law school in the country. I certainly give credit to Jefferson High for the educational values it instills.

Jefferson High School is by far one of the better high schools in all of Northeast Georgia. There is a very strong emphasis on academics, and the proof of this is consistently high test scores as well as a high graduation rate. This school has a high level of parent involvement. The high school recently opened a brand new performing arts auditorium that is excellent. My child is curently in Jefferson Middle School and I am very excited that she will be attending Jefferson High School next year. She will be very prepared for college.

Couldnt ask for a better school. Both of my childredn attended and one has graduated with scholarship and the other in currently in 10th grade. The teacher involvement is excellent and the fact that tutoring is offered several times a week after school is a p;us.
