St. Catherine of Siena has provided our children with a wonderful and spiritual educational experience. We have attended this school for the past 9 years and could not be happier with the staff, administration, and teachers. The caring and nurturing environment is outstanding, and the students are engaged in learning. The Sisters add the most wonderful spiritual presence to the school and provide the students with role models who have devoted their lives to the Lord. The school has a feeling of a true family and I have watched my children and their friends grow and mature into outstanding children of God. Every penny we spent at this school was worth it! I know my daughter is ready to move on and is extremely prepared for high school..

After several issues we decided it would be best to pull our child out of this school. Our child has come home with many bruises and strange marks. At first our child was excited to go to school but soon seemed almost scared to go. I don't believe that adequate supervision and care was being provided for my child.

"Special"....that is the best word I can think of to describe St. Catherine of Siena Catholic School. I have two children currently attending the school. I feel it is a true blessing that my children are able to attend a school where they not only receive a top notch academic education (ie: National Blue Ribbon recognized school); but they also receive a tremendous spiritual formation. The faculty and staff are incredible. You can feel the passion they have for teaching and working with young people. It goes way beyond a pay check for each of them. When I drop my children off at school each morning, I feel good knowing that they are being educated in a loving and Christ centered environment that will help prepare them for life beyond the classroom. The overall St. Catherine Community is very welcoming and everyone is always willing to lend a hand. It is truly a GREAT school and I would recommend it to any parent desiring a top notch educational experience for their child.

In my opinion, if you are going to spend $7,000/year on school, you better be happy with it. I can honestly say this school is worth every penny and more. When you send your child off each morning, you will be sending them to be with "family". There is the perfect balance of discipline and kindness, academics and spirituality, promoting independence and giving support. I asked my son to describe St. Catherine's in one word and he choose the word "perfect". I have happy, smart, well disciplined kids that have a moral and spiritual compass far beyond I could have provided on my own. As they say "it takes a village" and I am so happy that my "village" is St. Catherine of Siena.

My family and I have been involved with St. Catherine's School and Preschool for over 11 years and we LOVE it! We drive 20min to in from everyday. It's worth every mile and every penny academically and spiritually. Our children feel safe and happy. The academics are off the charts and the staff...amazing! If you are looking for a wonderful school, check them out, you won't be disappointed. God Bless!

Our concern for our child's safety after multiple bullying incidents prompted us to move to another school. Administration was unresponsive.

There are children getting injured in the classrooms due to negligent supervision. We talked with an administrator about this issue and the administrator refused to admit there are problems in the classroom.

Saint Catherine of Siena. Do not send your child here if you are looking for a beautiful classical Catholic education. You will find a very secular and public school level low grade, cheap ELA and Math curriculum which has Common Core workbooks being passed off as "normal". The Principal has no leadership or people skills. Stay away, not worth your money.

Rigorous academics. Skilled and dedicated teachers. Blue Ribbon School No common core! Far better discipline than any government (public) school can provide. Excellent religeous and moral instruction. Best elementary school that we could have chosen. We drive 15 miles one-way and spend the $$ for tuition for all of our kids for all that SCS has to offer. No regrets at all!

St. Catherine of Siena's school is a solid place of learning. The teachers and staff are highly engaged, immensely positive and are well responsive to parents. The sense of community with everyone involved is high and certainly inclusive to new arrivals to the school. On an academic level the school is pretty strong, as one should expect from a private school. And from what I've seen, any deficiencies are openly acknowledged by the staff and addressed relatively quickly. And finally, the most important part, my wife and I are seeing the school's positive and balanced effect on our child every day.

My child has been attending St. Catherine of Siena for the last six years and it has been amazing! The teachers are always very nice and they let their students have fun while learning. They also have many sports and activities to try. This is the best Catholic school in Atlanta!

My children has been assisting to this school for years now and we just have wonderful things to say about the staff, the principal, discipline and academics of this school. My kids love it and for them is like a second home. I highly recommended to all parents who wants to offer to their children not the basic but a whole different environment where they can grown, learn and have an extraordinary academic experience.

We have been attending this school since 2004 and are happy with the academic and religious education provided. The Sisters add much to the school both academically and spiritually and the administration is top notch. I've read a few of the reviews and disagree with some points. The '7 minutes of silence' at lunch (which is 30 minutes long) is to ensure that the students take time to eat their lunch. After the 7 minutes of silence is over, they are allowed to talk at inside voice level. After the prayer, they are released to recess and can run, play and shout to their heart's content. Part of an education is to learn discipline and respect for self and others. I see no reason why students need to be super noisy at school. They can do that at recess or at home. The teachers are well-educated, excellent, and kind.

St. Catherine of Siena Catholic School is a wonderful school with an awesome parent community and a dedicated faculty and staff. The school prinicipal, Sister Mary Jacinta, is a constant presence in the school and is dedicated to providing an academically challenging curriculum within a spiritually nurturing environment. My child is thriving at this school and we could not imagine having our child at any other school.

This school is average and only if you are a very conservative Catholic family. If your child does not fit the mold of quiet and reserved, but is a free thinker, this is not the school for you. The teachers are not tolerant of any noisy behavior. The children are made to be silent for 7 minutes at the beginning of lunch. They are all wanting to talk and relax but are not allowed to. There has been alot of yelling by teachers in the past but this is improving. Many of the families are parishioners of St. Catherine and very conservative.

This school is excellent! Our kids have gone to this school now for 4 years and they both are doing great. It is a lot of work for them but the results are great. Also happy to say their minds are not being destroyed by the leftist teachers unions!

I have found St. Caterine of Siena to be a truly oustanding school. The foundation in Math, Reading and Writing to be unparalleld in the elementary system. I have discussed the level of expectaions and progress with parents throughout the U.S. and the education at St. Catherine's is better than 80% of the parents I speak to. I have the choice of sending my son to any school in the Northwest Atlanta area. I have found that the education is well worth the cost.

Saint Catherine of Siena Catholic School is absolutely terrific. It nurtures an environment of acceptance, love, and challenging academics. The parental involvement is extraordinary and the teachings of the Catholic Faith is an added bonus. You can't go wrong with Christ in the classroom.

I have had my child at SCS for 4 years. Overall it is average. There are limited children's entertainment programs or extracurricular activities (ex: singing, Christmas, evening programs, sports). Also, I've not seen my child bring one art project home. For the most part the teachers are great. The communication between school and parents good be better. The parents are required to volunteer 30 hours or pay $300, which I don't agree with. We both have 2 jobs each in order to send our child here, which does not leave much free time. Overall it is average, not sure it is worth the money, except for the fact the kids are in a 'nice' protected environment.
