They have a great team that cares about the students attending this school. Strong leadership that has learned from the best.
My daughter is getting ready to begin 5th grade in this school. It is fantastic. She doesnt' want to ever leave and go to middle school. The teachers she's had have been wonderful. The only downfall is the parental involvement, there is none. However, I don't see this as the school's fault. They send out notices to all parents, but the parents don't care enough to go.
GREAT SCHOOL! Mrs. Martha Hill (the principle) has really brought this school to what a public school should be. The teachers are very postive and does not give up on a child in need. Since my son has been in this school, he is more postive about himself. I recommend this school to any new parents in this community. GREAT SCHOOL!
This will be my son's third year at Lavonia Elementary. The teachers that he has come in contact with have given him nothing but support and encouragement. He is in the gifted program and loves to read.
