We have been so pleased with Ola Elementary School. The teachers are concerned with the students well being academically and socially. The principal is always front and center with everything going on at the school.

i did not like the school. they did not work with my son who was in kindergarten, yet was at a first if not in some areas second grade level. maybe it was just my situation but i found the staff in the office to be very rude and hateful! there was no reason for it at all. if i can do anything about it he will not be back at this school ever. we did get him into another school towards the end of the year where they worked with him and helped him excel. im sure there were factors in why we were all treated the way we were but it was totally and completly uncalled for! it was like dealing with a bunch of immature high schoolers.

I have two children at Ola, one in 3rd grade and the other one in 6th grade. I should have done that before, but it is never too late to do the right thing. Ms Parejko is a great teacher that I would not stopped to appreciate. She has great sense of connecting with children. I also have to say that Ola staff appears to be very professional. All my interactions with them have been pleasant. Thank you Guys, Good Job.

My children entered ola in the 4th grade and is finishing the fifth. Ola has provided a safe, warm and comfortable setting for my kids. The kids are excited to go to school, and participate in the many activities everyday. I am very happy with ola, and will be glad to recommend it to anyone who wishes to try the Henry County School System.

I have three children at Ola. 1st, 3rd and 4th. We recently moved to the state and specifically to the Ola district. We are very happy with the school, however the BOE is trying to rezone us to another district. I am fighting tooth and nail to stay. I'm very proud to the great job Ola has done.

Terrible leadership if you just knew. The Principal could care less about the students and is very rude. MR.O should still br there he actually cared.

I've had 2 children attend Ola the past 5 years. We've had great teachers and a few that just wanted to get through the school year. The principal is not too parent friendly and has a lack of concern for individual student struggles. The office staff was great. Overall its still probably one of the best elementary schools in the McDonough area. No regrets!
