I am an anonymous student at wilco middle. I think the teachers are knowledgeable about the subjects they teach. But now they have 30 minute classes in the mornings, called ELT. Often, WE have to tell the "teacher" how to do the math problems! And the rules on displays of affection are stupid. I cant even hold my girlfriend's hand! And last, and I assure you the worst, is the decline in the quality of the school lunches. Seriously, pizza every Monday! One day, a boy in my class got a milk that was half full, and when he told the lunch attendant, and she got mad at him! Then, he all got 3 ranch dressing packs, and they were all empty! Not to mention the cold fries. One Friday, we got stale chips! The school is okay,but you can't ignore the problems.
I am a parent and teacher... I have a seventh grader at WCMS. I am extremely pleased with the education she is recieving.I feel that we work quite hard to try and prepare the students that enter Wilco for high school and beyond. The faculty and staff have a true love for children. Everyone at the middle school supports the students and parents in all aspects of middle school life. However, I do wish that we had a new facility in which to do all of these wonderful things...
