both my children went to MES for two years and I think the school should have done better to see that they needed to be tested for gifted I dont blame to teachers because they have done an outstanding jobs my daughter which is reading a 3rd to4th grade level when she was only in 1st grade and was not recommended for the gifted class and my my son that was not challenged enough ( the work was too easy for him) and no the school is not at all diverse i brought the yrs books for my kids which is their last yr there and all i saw was the most 4 african american and at the most 1 or 2 white or asian and the rest hispanic so who ever said that the school is diverse get ur eyes checked and what hurts most of all there are no extra activies for the kids like sports

My son attend this school from kidergarten and is starting his middle year . This school has failed him. He cannot write a paragraph and reads on a fourth grade level..He is embarrassed and ashamed to read aloud and cries in frustration over his school work because Meadowcreek did not prepare him. This school simply passed him on instead of teaching him. Now I have enrolled him in K12 http://k12.com an online charter school the state of Georgia pays for and provides certified teachers that work with and offer special needs programs. I'm upset and angry at Meadowcreek has failed us.

59% of this school has limited English proficiency. My child is a second yr student at MES (3rd grade) and I don't have many complaints. It is a Title IV school and very racially diverse.

I think this is a very good school. Meadowcreek has been making significant improvements for the last four years. My daughter is in Special Ed but exceeds academically and they meet her where she is as well as providing additional support through special activities. I am postponing a move from this area so she can keep the great teachers she has now!
