I luv Quail Run, Mrs. Hambrick is such a great treacher, Im pleased with my sons education, so many activities for parents to get involved, is a high quality school even though is public. I will miss this school!!!
My wife just wrote a review but I have to say, Qual Run Elementary school is outstanding, the quality of education is remarkable, I was extremently concentrated at work on my daily basis because I knew my son was having an amazing education with Mrs. Hambrick, she is an amazing teacher, leadership, parent involvement is A+
I have had children in Quail Run Elementary for six years. I have been VERY pleased with our experience here. Infact, it was one of the top reasons we bought our home in this area. The leadership honestly cares about the students. The staff welcomes parents warmly, and parent support is massive. I would like to comment to one of the negative reviews. My son has had a terrific experience in Mrs. Donna Smith's third grade classroom. I am sorry that another parent/child felt otherwise. I had read this review and was nervous to hear my son had been assigned to her classroom. But my fears quickly changed to a grateful excitement that he was in her care. The night before "greet the teachers" she personally called our home to welcome us and introduce herself - never had that happen before! She has required consistent nightly reading and homework. And my son has risen to her terrific expectations. She explains in writing why the student missed any points on assignments and models the right way, to help the student learn. I have rarely seen such a devoted teacher. No school is perfect, but we have been very happy to send our children here! :)
Both of my grandchildren have attended Quail Run. They have been well educated and enjoy going to school.
i went to quail run and the teachers are awesome!!!!! they had enough teaching and enough breaks.... The bullying was handeled well!!!! The ethnicity was great... your child will fit in great no matter what grade they're coming from!!!!
I would like to comment on the post from June 12, 2010. Donna Smith is a fabulous teacher! She is patient, committed to her students, and creates a wonderful classroom environment. My daughter had Mrs. Smith in Pre-K and loved her class!
My son's experience in Donna Smith's 3rd Grade class was profoundly damaging to him. She allowed him to be picked on, refused to give him appropriate accomodations and made his life as miserable as possible every day of the school year. She would promise to take appropriate action, but then not follow through.
my kid got great education at QRE. He has great teachers and good classmate. All of the staff does great jobs to make sure the kids have fun and safe learning environment.
Seems like all schools these day teach to one thing only and that is the state standardized test ie in georgia the crct...What happen to teaching subject matter and letting the chips fall.....Rate 2
If you had bothered to check the curriculm for the entire state of Georgia, you would know that all third graders learn the same information! You make it sound like only Quail Run Elementary is the only school where the students learn about these famous americans. Each grade level learns about different historical figures in different historical periods. Check your facts!
