We moved from out of state and really love this school. We moved to the county because of the great schools and have not been disappointed. The spirit of the school is very cheerful and pleasant. The admin. is very encouraging and positive. It shows in the teachers super positive attitude. My son has had a lot of trouble in the past due to a slight learning difficulty. His teacher communicates with me so well and they have so many ways of makinig sure that no child falls through the cracks that my son is really doing well. This has been a great move and great choice for our children.

This school has leadership problems and is only a good school if you have a self learner. If your child has any difficulties in any subjects they will leave it up to the parent to solve the problem. My neighbors and I had to hire math tutors (at our own expense of course) because this school couldnt step up to the plate. I was very dissapointed in this school.

Great school! We have a wonderful teacher this year in Tasha Johnson. I had one issue that I spoke to the principle about this year and she was warm, caring and professional. Could not be much happier with an elementary school.

The teachers and staff are awesome. There are lots of parent involvement actvities throughtout the year both during school hours and after school hours. (great for working parents to able to stay involved) My only dislike is that the children to do not go on field trips anywhere;EVER. I remember as a child getting so much out of educational field trips to places like Fern Bank Science Center and especially the Planetarium.

OCES is a very good school. Both of my children enjoyed their times as students there. The teachers and administration are dedicated, hard-working, and caring.
