When my husband and I moved to the area I knew that all the schools in Oconee were great! But we were fortunate that our son ended up at Colham Ferry. I can't say enough good things about the school, the amazing people there and the fantastic programs! We love it!

The teachers at this school are fantastic. They are the most competent group of elementary school teachers I have ever known. And the parental involvement is great. Every event that happens at CFES you see this tremendous outpouring of parent support. The parents are so involved with the school and are encouraged to participate in so many different ways. The principal, Mrs. Broderick, is involved so closely with the children. She is competent, no-nonsense, serious when needed, mixed with kindness and a genuine love of what she does. I absolutely think moving to this county and placing my child in CFES was the best educational decision I have made for my daughter.
