My children attended this school and were lucky enough to benefit from a few great teachers. The school went downhill fast when John Young took over. The school began losing teachers that had been there for years, began losing money, and parents started feeling intimidated by his behavior. I would not recommend this school to anyone who is a true Christian. If you need more information, you should contact some od the former teachers. This school went from a family filled environment to a disorganized, dysfunctional mess. I urge you to put your child's health and safety first and keep on driving past this school.

CornerStone Christian Academy all the way!!! My daughter has attended CCA since the age of 2 and I couldn't imagine her being anywhere else. She is now in the 3rd grade and has continued to excel academically and we couldn't be prouder. I am amazed at how advanced she is compared to her peers in public school. My daughter is always recommending her school to her friends in the neighborhood. She really enjoys teaching them about Jesus. She has such a good heart and love for Christ and I have to give credit to the staff at CCA for this. John and Kim are such good people and truly care for each child and their families. The teachers at CCA are doing an amazing job!

Our 2 kids are in their 7th year at CornerStone. This is a really great school with a family feel. Our kids have grown up with their classmates. The staff is very kind and loving to kids and the kids love them back. Mrs Young (Principal and Kindergarten teacher) can't walk 10 feet down the hall with out a hug or little one hanging onto her leg. :) Our kids always seem a year or two ahead of their friends and cousins who are in public school. One of the best things was when I explained to the kids that their friends don't learn about Jesus in the public school - they looked at me wide-eyed and asked, "what do they learn?" If you want your kids to learn about Jesus and his love, and get an advantage over their public school peers in their education, come to CornerStone.

Cornerstone Christian Academy has very loving staff members. We are truly blessed to have them as part of our family. My son started attending Cornerstone after attending a daycare in Post Falls that was unfortunately very neglectful and when we found out what was happening at that school we found solace in Cornerstone. Teacher Mindy made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in the door the first time (we had toured before but opted for the other school, hind sight is 20/20 should have chose them from the get go) but when we came back she remembered us from the year before. My son is in Mrs. Young's class now and loves going to school, he is reading, writing and doing math as a kindergartner. I am amazed had how much he soaks up being in her class. Cornerstone has helped us with making sure that he is surrounded by the word of God on a daily basis. He loves it there and we love knowing that he is in a loving, caring safe environment. We have another little one on the way and only wish that they provided care for children under 2 but we will be putting our other child with them as soon as we can. Thank you to the Young's & teachers for their hard work and dedication!

My granddaughter is attending Cornerstone Christian Academy this year. I can honestly say that I have never seen a child who loves to go to school as much as she does. Although she is only in kindergarten her knowledge of Jesus is astounding and her academic abilities amaze me.

Cornerstone Christian Academy is a great school. My son has been going there for three years and he is accelling academically and spiritually. This school is challenging my son to be a better person and student. They teach to respect and love. I feel that with the smaller class sizes my son has recieved more one on one instruction that has helped him become a high achieving student. He is in kindergarten and reading at a 2nd grade level and can do 2nd grade math. He is a respectful child who loves the lord. I am very pleased with what they have done for my son academically and emotionally.

CCA is a class act!! I have know them for the last 8 years and have to say they are awesome. All four of my children have attended CCA. In a society that lacks respect, moral values, and so many other things, CCA brings it all back to our children. They learn in an environment that teaches them respect, values, and a love for Christ. My daughter was diagnosed with cancer 4 years ago while attending CCA. 36 children shaved their heads following a parent's suggestion when she started treatment to support her on her journey through this terrible illness so she would not feel alone, awkward, or different attending school with a bald head. I think this exemplifies what a treasure this school can be to those children lucky enough to attend. The incredibly advanced academic environment is just the icing on the cake.

Cornerstone Christian Academy of Post Falls is a great school. Their academics are outstanding, I pulled my oldest daughter out of public school because it was not challenging enough and they were not willing to challenge her. We all love their deep love for the Lord. The teachers are committed and. really take the time to address everyone`s needs. They are not just a school they are a family.

A true foundation of learning academics and fruit of the Spirit. My children love it here. They have been given the option of public or continuing here and never waiver. We have been here from preschool age and up and the continued care offered through the summer months is a blessing. They get structure and outings and a summer long of Bible Camp activities. We have seen them excell in academics and test above local and national averages obove current grade levels. The hours are perfect for a working family for early drop off and late pick ups. We have been blessed by teachers that understand and have the time to spend with individaul children in their weakness and strenghten them where they are strong!

We are blessed for having found Cornerstone Christian academy and have two of our young sons enrolled. Not only are both excelling in academics, they have found such a love for God that it inspired me to find my own faith again. I could never thank Kim and John, and the entire staff of Cornerstone enough for all they have done for my son and for our entire family, A thank you just doesn't seem like enough!

My daughter has been attending Cornerstone Christian Academy for the last 7 years and my son has been attending for the past 5 years. Their academic achievements are at least a a year and a half ahead of their peers in public school. The environment at the school is simply amazing....the administrators and teachers are caring, nurturing while still providing a strict academic setting. The class sizes are small which lends to more individualized attention. The halls of the school are filled with laughter, smiles and kindness. If you are looking for place where your children can excel academically while having the freedom to talk about God and pray at school then Cornerstone Christian Academy is for you.

I absolutely love this school! My kiddo was first taught by Kim in his kindergarden days. He stayed with the school all through his elementary and middle school years and has since "graduated" (they only teach through middle school). Had the school had a high school program, my kiddo would still be there! I love the family environment that this particular school gives. The staff make learning fun andteach the children to behave by providing positive examples (a very positive in my book since the morals and values of our society are declining). We still stop by when we are in town to visit the staff and say "Hi!", My kiddo often asks to by the school and see Kim, John & teacher Mindy...they were and still are special people in his life. He loves to tell them of his accomplishments and see the smiles on there face when they see how their time and investment, in teaching him, has paid off. This school has helped me raise my son into the amazing, caring, faith-driven, wonderful person that he is! Thanks for being such an important part of my sons life!

Cornerstone Christian Academy provides a great Christian environment, loving but firm teachers, excellent curriculum and much more! My children test above average for their grade level and both were fully reading by Christmas in their kindergarten year. I recommend it to anyone looking for an alternative to the public schools in Post Falls.

CornerStone is a great school. The teachers are excellent. I am impressed with the amount of support, caring and guidance the students receive. My son's reading has improved greatly and he is well rounded since being at CCA. I only wish we would have found this school sooner.

This school is wonderful! The owners are very involved and really care about the children. They truly are good Christian people. The education is also superior to the public school system. We have been VERY happy.

The academics are more challenging than most schools. Classroom sizes are small thus providing students with more attention from their teachers. The discipline and school principals are highly principled and moral, teaching kids to be spiritually responsible in all of their words and deeds. The only thing missing would be extracurricular and sports programs. I also wish they required uniforms but there are restrictions on dress.

Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
