My children are currently going to school at Bannockburn. We have been very pleased with the learning environment and are thrilled with the facilities and resources. The school offers a terrific music program, great technology with Smart Boards used in every classroom, Spanish instruction and amazing student to teacher ratios! We feel fortunate to have this school in our community.

I have taught in four different school districts and Bannockburn is the BEST! Besides the strong academics, there is a nurturing atmosphere there you don't find elsewhere.

The school totally exceeded my expectations especially in the area of one on one support for the children who need it. The vibrancy and commitment of the teachers and principal are amazing.

SImply put, Bannockburn is a public school with a private school education. I can't imagine my children anywhere else.

This school is really taking the environment seriously. They are constantly implementing green practices in regards to the chemicals used and energy consumed. The computer to child ratio is off the charts. All in all we are very lucky to have our two children attend this school. The only weakness that I can see is how they handle gifted children.

Bannockburn School used to be an excellent school. Four of my children attended there during the past eleven years with my fifth still there. With the present administration, I've seen the school moving in the wrong direction. Many of the academics are still excellent. The science and math programs are great but the language arts seems a bit weak. The climate of the school is much less welcoming to pparents than it used to be.program

I have a 4 year old in the Bannockburn speech program which she started a year ago(yes...she is not even a pre-school student yet) and I have to say everything about this school is amazing. Everyone (and I mean everyone--students, teachers, admin, etc.) are polite, respectful and kind. I have never had anyone go so far out of their way and beyond their 'job descriptions' as they did at Bannockburn to help a child that wasn't even a student at their school yet... as they have here! This is a great school...not just academically but socially too...the grades and the happy faces show it..just see for your self!

We had three of our children go through all nine years K-8 at Bannockburn, and we felt the academic preparation was excellent at all levels. Early development was strong, Science was weak, reading and English were strong. The small class sizes allowed much individual attention, but made athletic teams problematic, and made semipermanent social cliques inevitable. Neighboring schools may have prepared their students better for high school studies.
