Our child has been in Abe since kindergarten and this is our last year. The parent involvement, teachers and school body are excellent. Very involved, dedicated and there's many family activities that take place to reinforce the community sense there. Definetly a community based school with much involvement between teachers, principal and families. A true family feeling - very hands on and you and your kids feel a part of something bigger than just the average school day. Love, love, love.
My son attended this school last year (kindergarden) he struggled a lot during the year but his teacher and the new principal were so helpful. This year he went back to his 'home' school and I guess I was spoiled at Abe Lincoln because were looking to move back to that area just so he can go to school there.
We recently moved and my two sons began the school year at Abe Lincoln and I have been very impressed with this school. My sons are in 1st and 6th grades and both of their teachers are very helpful and always keep me informed which is very important. I love the cultural mix at this school which I think is also very important as it prepares them for the real world and gives them an appreciation for all types of cultures. The new principal, Mr Langdan and all the schools staff seem very involved and sincere about providing an excellent education to our children. I look forward to continuing to work with all of them. Great job all-stars
We just moved here from out of state and I am so happy with this school. My son is in kindergarten and loves it! His teacher is wonderful and he comes home everyday with something new to talk about. I feel like he's actually being educated. I also appreciate the fact that this school has an amazing mix of ethnic groups! It's great to see kids learning about others who are different and making new friends.
My Daughter is in 1st grade, and she love her school a lot, I sent her to Governor French, the private school for a semester and it was a nightmare to her, she is gald to back to the public school, Pubilc school rocks, She learn how to write jounal, and do math, lear Japanese Children song, and Also have a complete Art, and PE Class, It is very important to have all kind of subjects for the younerings, Especailly their brain is still growing, Do not just focus in one subject. Vairty, and stimulation are very important.
This school is a really excellent school i have a 2nd grader who attends mrs mcgoverns ( great techer) class and i can't ask for a better educator also the staff are courteous and very nice all stars rule!
