just a holding tank for 7th and 8th graders. If you like overcrowded classes, unprofessional teachers, and a violent atmosphere for your child. This is the place for you!

This school doesn't even deserve the one star. The principal doesn't care about his students. Students get bullied on a daily basis and when they finally say something nothing gets done. Seven fights break out in a day teachers get cold cocked. Students don't serve detentions and yet the whole school gets lectured for it. The students there use foul language on the teachersss and they do nothing. The kidds from this school will wind up being a bunch of gang bangers.

I'm a former student of BUGC. Personally i believe that the quality is great. In other reviews people have claimed that the 'connection between parent and teacher are poor' and 'there are not many extra cirricualr activities to choose from.' I don't think people should make accusations without becoming more involved themselves. My parents became very close friends with many of my teachers. And what other extra cirricular activities are there to choose from?! I was in spelling bee, yearbook, chain reaction, basketball, softball, mathletes, band, jazz band, and sculpture throughout my 2 years at BUGC. along with that, I was in all honors classes. I also do dance softball and music lessons outside of school. The teachers make it easy to balance work with other things. BUGC has prepared me to be successful throughout high school and for the rest of my life.

I currently am an 8th grader a BUGC. And the school has it 'Ups & Downs.' First of all, I think the school needs some more extra curricular activities. All we have are yearbook, tiger force, student council, speech team, and then there are the sports teams. Also, I dont think that the school should have gotten rid of our homeroom and our one elective. It was better to hav another elective so the kids could get a better feel on what kind of classes they want to take at the high school. Well, anyways, all of the teachers do an excellent job there and they arent doing anything wrong. Personally, my favorite teacher is my english teacher, Mrs. Fennema! She's the reason why I actually like honors english class this year. *Keep up the good work everyone!!!!**

One of the worst schools I have ever seen. There is no honest communication between staff, students and parents. This is one school where the students run the school. Going to this school is not a choice. Choose a private school for your child no matter what part you live in this area.

Being a parent of one student and the aunt of another I say this school provides children a wealthly education with sports, art, and music programs for all. The kids enjoyed the years they spent in the school. The teachers are some of the most wonderful and caring. They put alot of effort forth to educated the children and help them grow into well adapted young adults. I never feared for my child's safety, every day and all events are chaparoned with a good ratio of adults to children, policies are followed with no tolerance for drugs or violance. The parents are welcomed into the school and invited to be a part of their childs middle school education. I have two more children that will go through this school and I can't wait! Keep up the good work. Looking forward to seeing Mrs. Keigher, Mrs. Warshum, and Mr. McBarns and many others.

I am a former 2004 graduate from bugc. I love this school! I could have asked for no better school at all. Everything is what you would dream of for your child to attend. The teachers are absolutley wonderful, caring, attentive people. They know what they are doing and get the job done. My favorite teacher that made my year was Mrs. Oliver. If you read this, 'Hi! im doing great in Florida.' I would give this school an a+ in sports, ex. Curr. Activities, teachers, teaching aids, spirit, discipline, organization! everything!
