We would have moved away from C-U without Southside here. We have a 3rd-grader and every teacher has been excellent. The environment is fun and nurturing and it starts at the top and runs all through the school. We volunteer in the classroom so we see a lot of the day-to-day.
It has a great faculty and administration. The PTA is active and involved. The kids are great!
South Side school is a great learning community.
South Side is an excellent school. The teachers are caring and warm. They take the time to get know the families. There is plenty of parent involvement and most parents know all the kids in their child's grade. Everyone is willing to help out and really make the elementary experience great for all of the kids.
South Side is a great little community school in the Old Town of Champaign. There are some excellent teachers on the staff. Parent involvement is positive and productive.
