There are good review's and there are bad. My Special needs son and I had a horrible experiance with Lincoln. To which I removed him from the school. But I personally am finding I am not liking the school district as a whole. We've had severl mishaps and school has just started. I feel this district has gotten worse since I graduated in 91.

The teachers at this school are exceptional. The success, safety and well-being of each child is first and foremost to all staff members. There is a very strong PTA and sense of community, and several activities are available throughout the year. My child has had an excellent experience at Lincoln, and I can only imagine that any child is fortunate to attend such a model school. I am sure that the success of the school is due to the excellent leadership of their now retiring principal, but I am sure that his legacy will be carried on.

About the tests

In 2011-2012 Illinois used the Illinois Standards Achievement Test (ISAT) to test students in grades 3 through 8 in reading and math, and in grades 4 and 7 in science. The ISAT is a standards-based test, which means it measures how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Illinois.
