My daughter has attended Westlake her Kindergarten year. It was only suppose to be a one year thing. We cannot afford private school and taking her to the public school Kindergarten in the district we belonged to was out of the question. I am so impressed with Westlake for various reasons. One, a lot of parents are involved either by volunteering or belonging to a group apart of the PTO such as marketing or teacher appreciation. Yes, you heard right, we even have a teacher appreciation team, that shows love and gratitude to our teachers. Two, they really do work with you As far as finance, hours, situations, etc. No other school offers such personal help. It is not their obligation. Three, when my daughter had a problem with a few girls at her school, her teacher was sincerely broken hearted. She addressed the problem the next day. Days later, the girls were all playing together. In other schools they would tell you, they cannot force children to play with others they choose not to. Four, it is a community. Everyone knows each other, everyone is willing to help. Finally, what they are learning and the pace they are learning at. Very very blessed to be apart of this school.

Our son absolutely loves the pre-school. He enrolled mid-year and his teachers have made the transition so smooth. Their patience has helped him so much. He is thriving and he loves school again!

If you want your children to be in a school where they are taught the word of God, have excellent academics and fine arts programs and are loved by the teachers and staff... This is the school for you! As a parent I can't tell you how comforting it is to know that my children are in a safe, God focused learning environment where they want to go to school. Westlake Christian Academy is truly awesome, you'll love it!!

Westlake is the most wonderful school for really caring about the people, the community, the students. We are all taught to give back as much as we can to our communities and the people in them. Westlake is the best!!

Most outstanding school either my son, my husband or myself have ever encountered. Wonderful, supportive teachers and learning environment! Our son was thrilled to go there.

Loved this school! Teachers made my child beg to go to school even when she was sick! Nothing but love and a yearning to learn new things is found here! I was never upset with any of the teachers or the principal in the way they handled any situations. Absolutely top notch!

Community ratings and reviews do not represent the views of GreatSchools nor does GreatSchools check their accuracy or verify the reviewers' identities. Use your discretion when evaluating these reviews.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.

What is the GreatSchools Rating?

The GreatSchools rating is a simple tool for parents to compare schools based on test scores, student academic growth, and college readiness. It compares schools across the state, where the highest rated schools in the state are designated as “Above Average” and the lowest “Below Average.” It is designed to be a starting point to help parents make baseline comparisons. We always advise parents to visit the school and consider other information on school performance and programs, as well as consider their child's and family's needs as part of the school selection process.
