Some of the teachers can be cold, but my kids love the school. Mr. Aleman always says hello to us. He seems to know what is going on and that impresses me because he is a young principal.

This is a great school. I feel that the principal has the community concerns at heart. The teachers care about the kids. Mr. Aleman does a great job of seeing that the kids are being cared for and that the teachers are working with the parents. Good job, everyone!

This school is incredible. I have 2 kids, 1 of which is graduating this year and the other has been at Elsie Johnson since kindergarten, now going into 5th grade. I have not 1 complaint about the school. I wish this school went through 8th grade. The teachers and staff are wonderful in every way

This school should be higher rated than it is. The teachers & staff area phenomenal! I have a child with autism and Mrs. Strum cannot be topped! I constantly hear of parents in other schools having problems with special needs being addressed. Here at Elsie J we are listened to and our concerns are always addressed. A wonderful school in a great area!

My child attends this school and I can not believe that it is only rated a 6. My child has been with this school for 4-years and we can't complain. The principal is excellent and the staff is very caring! Thank you Elsie Johnson for everything!

Throw the ratings out the window, this school is awesome! You can't find a better in tune and caring principal then Kathy Radcliffe. We have children on both ends of the spectrum and both have have their needs more than met. If you don't get involved with school activities it's your own fault and your cheating your child as there is always something to do. The school is in a great nice safe neighborhood.
