Excellent School. Diverse teaching styles allow for students to grow and learn at different paces. Every effort is made to allow time for struggling students to grasp the lessons while at the same time, not holding back students who excel. Emphasis on character building exercises (such as PBIS, Turkey Trot, Adopted Grandparents, Community gardens, etc) are helping to develop well-rounded future adults. Kudos! If only more parents got involved in helping the school rather than only showing up to to complain, it would have scored 5 stars on all!
For children with special needs, I would not recommend this school. We've personally had nothing but problems with this school. Not enough staff support, not enough training provided to staff. They make exception for the regular education students, but not for the children with special needs. Know your rights under the I.D.E.A before attending any I.E.P's at this school.
