My husband and I were so happy when we found St Hubert. This is our 2nd year ad our views have changed! Our son has been bullied for both years by the same child and nothing has been done. They have talked to both my son and the other child. This child has been caught in lie after lie. Our son's version has never changed once! Our son has been punched, shoved to the ground, sat on, the list keeps going. We have talk to the principle and asst principle and nothing has been done. The school has a ZERO tolerence policy that every child and parent must sign. This is simply not enforced. The bulling that goes on is school wide at every grade level. I hear the same thing from many parents. It was even suggested to my husband and I that we contact the other childs parents ourselves to get the bulling to stop. This is not the 1950's!! and this child is not Opie! WHY would we contact his parents and why should we have to do the principles job!!! Worthless administrative staff from top to bottom - even the office is filled with crabs!!! As new parents at the school there was very little information given. If you are looking for a new school keep looking - we are!!!

I am an alumni of St. Hubert School. When looking for a school for our children, my husband and I had to look no further than the community that I grew up in. Our children are able to have free discussion on faith and religion; apply themselves in core curriculum driven classes that allow for differentiated instruction; attend extensive art, music, physical education, and language classes regularly; and become involved in many extracurricular activities such as sports, chess, drawing, and band - all while being picked up right on the corner of our street. Moreover, we are able to show our children what it is like to be part of more than a school it s a community. My husband and I are so happy that we gave our children this amazing gift that will allow them to go on to become thoughtful, driven individuals in society. I would recommend that anyone within the area obtain information on St. Hubert School and consider this choice for their children.

Higher academic standards but not satisfied overall, my child's experience is not good & this affected his grades. This school have left a bad taste in my mouth from our personal experience, maybe cuz we expected more from this school.

I have a nephew who attends the school and just recently the dad reported a bullying incident. My nephew received a bruise from another kid and based on the school bully policy, it seems that the principle is not taking this seriously since no actual disciplinary action has been taken. The bullying has extended to the bus as well.
I wanted to send a message to all the "Little Troopers" and the teacher staff for their generosity and Christmas cards that they filled out for me to deliver to the Veteran Hospital's in Chicago over the Christmas Holiday Season. They are held in high regard for their teaching skills, and the fact that they have made it possible for veterans to get Christmas cards from the entire school body to wish hospitalized veterans from all 3 hospital locations a Merry Christmas, was a sight to see, with so many veterans with tears in their eyes, as they took the time to read the thoughts from 3rd through 8th grade students. We came here from a different Catholic school. From a school where my some was miserable to one that my son actually enjoys coming go! The education is phenomenal and my son is at least one year ahead of the other kids in neighborhood. Teachers are caring and understand kids are all different. Yes there is religion, but NOT radically so, and they do recognize other faiths which is something I know SCS down the street will not. If yo are considering a private or Catholic school, you should really consider this one! tuition is about the same as SCS we have lots more extra curicular activities, they don't brainwash her and academically Huberts is just as good as SCS. SCS has had many internal problems lately with their staff. Please look into that before you send your children there.

St. Hubert Elementary School is known for its enthusiastic teachers, personal approach, care and consideration of the student and their well being. The academic programs are excellent and prepare the student well for their junior and High School course experiences. Parents are welcomed and their views are considered. The population is diverse as this community is one of the highest diversity communities in the Northwest Suburbs. The Pastor of the Church and the new Principal takes great pride in educational success and as a result, this school has a significant number of students that matriculate to Universities and Colleges throughout the Midwest. The religious foundation is excellent, instilling values in students that attract parents and students representing a diversity of religions as well as Catholics. This speaks volumes about the attractiveness of the School, Instruction, instructors and course content and materials. Parent involvement is encouraged.

What a great place to learn! St. Hubert provides a nurturing environment and a great education. My children are both one to two years ahead of the children in our neighborhood who attend other schools. They love the teachers because the teachers go the extra mile, always providing learning experiences that enhance their textbook lessons. It is definitely worth the 20 minute ride to have my children WANT to go to school. I would definitely recommend St. Hubert to any family (Catholic or not) that wants a quality education for their child(ren). Many of the parents are at the school helping out constantly lending a real family feel to the school. I wish I could have attended St. Hubert as a child. GO KNIGHTS!

St. Hubert is fortunate to have large school enrollment with small school feeling. Students receive benefits of extra activities and interests with the increased involvement. Best of all, there is a spirit here that is warm, respectful, and trusting. I would recommend this school among any around for both its academics and religious/spiritual growth. I have to travel 20 minutes to bring my children there and I wouldn't trade it for anything! --Keep up the good work St. Hubert teachers and staff--and students!
