We have had extreme difficulty with Heritage Grade School and the lack of special education programs. My son has several mental disorders including Aspergers, ADHD and a mood disorder and we are repeatedly denied an IEP, 504 or any formal behavioral plan. He has had repeated behavioral problems and the school will do nothing to put a plan in place during school to help solve the problem. If your child is "normal" it may be a fine school, but if your child is special needs don't expect any help!

Whoever wrote the review about the bullying policy has got to be an employee, the principal is the biggest bully of them all and my step son has been bullied with no consequences and has bullied with no consequences from the school, just from us at home!! Parents are kept so in the dark about everything at that school that are executive sessions at every board meeting to discuss administrative discipline, or complaints made against teachers staff and administrators! 85% of complaints fall on deaf ears!

I think this is an excellent school. We have an aggressive anti-bullying program. I have noticed only a few clicks. Grades are of greater importance than sports. We let all kids play sports until high school instead of being told they are not good enough at an early age.
