I moved into Itasca in 1983 because of the school district. My son since has grown. I now have an 11 year old at the school and it is better than ever. When I consider the extra effort the teachers make to teach the students it is quite amazing. There are levels of experiences that are equal to the knowledge of the student. Every student is challenged no matter what his ability is. When addressing other parents of different districts in the same grade level Peacock appears to be so advanced. We wanted a bigger home and decided to add on just because of the school district. The teachers are available for any reason concerning your child. I love the education my son is receiving at Peacock.

When we first moved here from the city, we knew that we found the better choice of an education for our child. This school first started off showing its great academics. All subjects were covered with the help of great teachers. Math, science, social studies, spanish or world cultures covered every aspect that was important for our child's education. Along with academics, music, art, and sports were a great help with building good character. The kids learn and experience different things that parents wish for them to know. That is why parents like to be involved in this school. It is in such a great community, that parents like to be involved to keep that credential going. I am really grateful that my child went through such a great education that I know will always stay with them and their memories.

I sent both of my boys through Peacock. Individually, the teachers are outstanding, the team teaching concept is great, the extra curricular activities plentiful, communication with the school is constant, and the school is very safe. We moved from another district before my boys were of school age because of all three schools in this district. It was one of the best decisions we have ever made. I cannot recommend this school (and district) enough.
