Both of my children are in Libertyville High School. They have a very strong enrichment program with multiple AP classes in a wide array of fields. They also have an excellent music program.

My son graduated last year from LHS and now he's finished first year of college. The school is great, academically and socially. Fine Arts program is one of the best. Math and Science department is great. Math team has been placed 1st regionally several years in a row. Excellent school.

Both my children went to Libertyville High School and got a great education. As any high school, the student must get involved. My son was ADD and got great followup. My daughter received great interaction with the teachers.

Administration fails to address the excessive drug and alcohol problems that every grade level has. Terrible support system, and mentally scarring on my child.

The teachers are fantastic and everyone looks out for eachother! If someone is being mean to another student in the hall, people are like 'Hey! That's not cool, man!'

Excellence is the only way to describe the academics of this school. The school spirit is uplifting for all students. It is believed this gives them the motivation to study and to be proud of their school.

Most of the teachers at this school are high quality and care very much about the progress of the students. The fine arts and science program is top notch. In contrast, the quality of the administration and counseling is very poor (and the quality is deteriorating every year). The administration and counseling staff lacks the necessary skills that are required in today's environment. If I was assigning them a grade, I would give them an F. School Board...please take the necessary action that will improve this situation.
