From the beginning of the year to the end, my children were doing the same work. I am very disappointed with Washington Monroe.

I am amazed at the level of education my children receive. The school is very structured. Comunication between school an poarent is above my expectations. Parent involvment is vital to both the school and our children and this school gets that!! The staff in this school care and it shows. My only disapointment is the physical education program. And that is not controled by the school but rather the district and the state of Illinois. P.E. once a week is not adequit.

This is a wonderful school. Parent involvement is greatly encouraged and requested. There is a 'learning' contract signed at the begining of each year for each student. It basically spells out what is expected of the student, teacher, parents and principle and is signed by all. Our school ranked the highest for the city on testing. Teachers are very caring.

Washington -Monroe is a great school for kids to learn at. The teachers are awesome and they get things done. They listen to the child's questions and problems.
