I attended this school years ago, and not a day goes by that I don't use some bit of knowledge culled from my exceptional high school education. Fabulous district with unbelievable resources. A top-notch education and facility. Northbrook remains a wonderful place to live because the schools continue their tradition of excellence. Bravo.
Glenbrook North was an ok school. It wasn't what I thought it would be, it's not the grates school at least the way I was treated there. I was discriminated against by some of the staff I had to go through a lot. they diden't even give me my sat score after I graduated
GBN is an amazing school. There are clubs, sports, and the arts to support any student's interests. Totally prepares students for post-secondary education. However, it lacks majorly in diversity. The school tries, but when your population is so homogeneous, it's difficult! I didn't appreciate it at the time but after undergraduate and graduate school I very much appreciate all my teachers did for me!
Great instruction for teens prior to entering college. Good preparation for advanced learning. High tech facilities.
I love Glenbrook North. Glenbrook North prides itself on its 3 AI LOVE Glenbrook North. Glenbrook North prides itself on its 3 A's: Academics, Activities, and Athletics and they do a good job at each. As for the Academics, a few years back they switched to block scheduling, you have 8 classes, 4 of those classes one day and the rest of the 4 classes the next day. It gets the student prepared for college schedule wise when they won't have the same schedule every day in college. In addition, students don t have as much stress because there won t be as much homework on a daily basis and periods are each 90 minutes in length which allows for greater opportunities. You ll find there are no negatives in a 90 minute period, some critics say that 90 minutes is too long but the teacher doesn t lecture for 90 minutes straight, a lot
Great school, offers wonderful programs. great athletic programs, outstanding math science
Great school. Really prepares you for college.
I love Glenbrook North. They have quality teachers, a solid academic college prep program.
The programs are great. It's the students that need some work. I would rather teach students that are more down-to-earth.
The quality of this school is top-notch. Students have every opportunity to get a great education at any level, with special programs for remedial and gifted education. Plenty of clubs and sports, excellent facilities, plenty of funding, count yourself lucky if you're in this school district
